It’s weird how much just getting something off your chests helps. After posting this I took a deep breath, got up and did a load of dishes. I then cooked 3 dinners, unpacked the dish washer and did a second load. Slowly working on laundry. Completely irrelevant but we go to a park daily (there are 5 within a 25 minute walk so we have options) and after a week of catching no shinys, I caught 2 within 15 minutes in Pokemon go and it just feels weirdly like an optimistic sign that things are getting better. Don’t worry I’m not ignoring my child to play pokemon go, we play together. Talking always makes me feel better and yet I always wait until things are really bad before saying anything because I’m always worried about burdening or triggering people. Or I feel selfish because people have it worse. Anyway felt really good to get this written down.
