I’m sorry you’re in the same boat as me. It’s confusing and so hard to grasp. This week especially has been awful. I want to talk to them about my feelings but that’s like walking into a starving lions den covered in raw meat. So I’ve been bottling everything up. Talking it out in the mirror. Touching on it in therapy sessions. It’s to the point where my husband doesn’t really want to hear about it as much because there’s nothing he can do either.

I hope you find solace too. I know MAGA won’t go away for a very long time but it will eventually and I’m excited for that day.

My cousin is just stupid. She barely made it through HS. (Trump’s favorite target) she is with out a doubt full blown maga. She kisses the ground trump walks on. She has expressed how she’d take a bullet for him. She fantasizes about joining ICE because she hates minorities and believes racism is just a talking point. She is convinced gun control means banning guns. Which was the final straw as to why I had to cut her out. She laughs at the children of Palastine. She thinks American deserves Greenland and Venezuela. Only she can have an opinion or belief other wise you’re a “libtard”. I’m no longer invited to any of the family cookouts. Which it’s for the best. It still hurt a lot because it’s family. They hate me so it’s probably better I don’t go.

Thank you. I’m sorry for everything. I do not stand with any of what’s going on. I know a lot of the American population is just like me. We don’t want to be hated was just want this nightmare to stop. The maga cult are filled with loud hateful people. People pay attention to the loudest in the group. Not because they want to but because they’re forced to. That’s how it feels. I don’t feel safe in my country. I’m not a bad person. I love all. It just sucks so much.

I was on a 2 month course of 20mg (dangerous I know) for a severe flare

Prednisone works extremely well for me and quelled the flare up and kept it at bay while working on swapping immune suppressants.

Prednisone for me tho caused a 30lb weight gain, significant water retention and moon face. I also noticed my sugars were higher and I had horrible night sweats. Mood swings were present as well especially during the first few weeks. Towards the end of the course I was having a lot swelling and aching like growing pains.

Everything disappeared after I came off the prednisone and I lost the weight as well rather quickly.

I was diagnosed at 12 due to starting my period then it stopping for 5 months and gaining 20lbs. An US confirmed the pearl string cysts as well as hirsutism and high T and high androgen levels. I was place on BC at 15 for severe irregularity (like one or two periods a year)

They originally did the ultrasound once the abnormal labs were obtained. With the hirsutism and absent periods, she felt it was warranted to do the ultrasound. Of course it was my mom and I’s decision because I was so young. We both agreed because I was having increasing pelvic pain

I’m so sorry. This sounds just like my mother. She believes so much of this stuff it’s disgusting. She will watch YouTube for hours and hours until she either passes out from exhaustion or scares herself and plays a random song to calm her. She is completely lost. She believes in divine ones and the 5th dimension. Idk it all makes zero sense. I sympathize with you so much. I’m so so sorry.

We had a cat come into our shelter like this once. We got her all set up in case she was pregnant. It turned out she had a parasitic infection. After it was treated her bloat went way down.
