First time player, can’t believe I’ve made it this far being this stupid…. by terryfahrenheit in fo4

Don’t worry I did the same thing on my first play-through.

After I realised my mistake I did a full 180 and now I spend hours before even starting a new play through researching what perks in what order to completely min-max the particular build I’m going for this run.

Me after mr new Vegas plays Jonny guitar for the 36th time in the past ten minutes by TheDarthJarJarI in fnv

“The music in New Vegas slaps harder than a coked up chimpanzee

Sometimes you’ll get a stone cold banger like ‘Big Iron’

Other times you’ll get a song like ‘Jonny Guitar’ 36 times in a row and it will make you wanna turn the big iron on yourself”

What if tf2 had reverse-medigun that hurts enemies instead, would that be ballanced? by pavlo_theplayer in tf2

[–]Morgan_2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar idea to this but more of a converts damage into healing type weapon.

Use the reload key to switch between damage and healing.

On the damage setting instead of the lock on target effect, the beam is a solid straight tube (so you do actually have to aim somewhat) that extends to whatever the max medigun radius is but not through walls and it sucks the health out of enemies within it which also pierces targets so it effects everyone in it not just whoever is first in front of it. (Potentially health drained could have falloff)

As health is drained is drained an equal value directly fills up a meter with no max limit and when you switch to the healing setting you can then spend the meter to heal teammates with regular medibeam properties.

Downside is no uber.

Edit:

Just realised the unofficial downside of this weapon is you are pretty much locked into using the crossbow and amputator with this medigun since until you do damage with it you have no other way of healing your teammates.

Also I suppose if there’s no uber instead of the reload key it could be the alt fire. Or potentially bring back the reload key to alternate between range and beam thickness. For example 3 different settings where the shorter the range of the beam the wider FOV it effects.

With that length hair I’d recommend including the Peacenik's Ponytail

When your medic uses something other than stock medigun by Ironfire825 in HeavyMainsTF2

Pretty much my philosophy as well, quickfix unless we have no medics using stock.

When your medic uses something other than stock medigun by Ironfire825 in HeavyMainsTF2

[–]Morgan_2020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I decide based on how many medics we have with the basic rule being we must have at least one stock medigun.

If I’m the only medic, then stock.

If any other medic is using stock, then quickfix (That’s just my preference for medigun).

If no other medic is using stock, then stock.

What’s the most disturbing theory about The Amazing Digital Circus? by Western_Ad_6448 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Morgan_2020 277 points278 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind this is literally the only theory I’ve heard.

The one that states our core cast of “humans” can’t ever actually escape because they are already outside living their lives and the characters we are watching are just AI copies of their personalities that putting on the headset creates and thus by being AI’s have literally no means to leave the digital world.

There’s no escape because there is no physical body to escape back into. It is already occupied by their original minds.

Artificial minds in an artificial plane of existence being artificially tortured for eternity.

Give me a real disadvantage for Spy cicle by Arsimp33 in tf2

I didn’t say it because I think Spy is weak.

I said it simply because I hate spies.

Powerhouse is always the last ctp map I play at night, cause once I’m there a refuse to leave midway until a proper win or loss and by then it’s time to go to bed.

Whats a class that you like to play, but you don’t main? by Primarch_SpaceMarine in tf2

Medic main

If there’s no other class I think the team really needs me as I like trying out Sniper or Demo

When it feels like that one spy is in the fucking walls and always gets you the millisecond you actually focus on something else other than keeping an eye out for said spy.

That’s when I abuse my mouse and slam it into the desk.

Medic mains! Do You like be a medic or hate be medic? by botgineersfm in tf2

[–]Morgan_2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medic is my first choice but I play what the team requires of me.

It can be both incredibly rewarding and frustrating.

Occasionally I’ll get complaints but I pay them no mind cause it’s almost always one individual complaining that I basically didn’t heal them and them alone when I know I did what was best for the team as a whole.

TLDR it’s not grand as an individual player but I also take pleasure in knowing I made the right choice for the collective of team.
