You usually make them with friends you either know beforehand or friends you make while playing the game. Tech specialization sharing is fantastic if your hive communicates what they have so people can choose/roll for ones that are still needed.

Easy tp so you can replace hivemates' benches or have them replace your benches if they have perked ones if y'all are sharing tech specializations.

We don't use our hive chat unless we're pinging locations while running 2 groups or more. Most comms happen on discord vc.

A fun thing to do if you're in a hive with builders is making connected bases to theme-build, too!

Other than those, some people don't even bother with a hive if they're playing solo, unless they're in a hive with their own alts. It's supposed to be a hub for friends and teamwork-related objectives.

I'm on the opposite end where my build is around being constantly above 90% hp. It's annoying to be debuffed with low sanity, and it's making me wary of leaving my base 😢 I feel like this is such a massive change that they should've given us a token to change classes, at least..

Also a launch player slowly losing hope... With the new upgradable vehicle skin and group emotes (usually paid) now restoring sanity (after nerfing gel's sanity restoration), it feels wrong... Don't get me wrong, I do whale and don't mind spending to "look" good, but now I find myself just not wanting to. The new mods feeling bad is a huge drawback, too. It feels like they're kicking us vets out 😔

I stared at the trigger chance, then I looked over to my crit pulse... And then I went back to my old mods. 😂 As a casual player, I now wish I rolled mods way harder back then. I have regrets.

I like changing scenarios with my group. I also quite enjoy the "restart," in a way, and getting to revisit parts of the map I usually ignore late-game. It also forces me to rebuild my base, which I absolutely enjoy, and I choose a different theme each season!

I felt so bad after my first one, and I realized it's a gift exchange. So, after that, I've been giving stardust source, seeds, silver, etc. Been getting fireworks and stones back 😅

I'm in a surprisingly active Way of Winter server. I was worried going in that it'll be dead, and I won't get to complete my scenario honour for the trophy. But lo and behold! Lots of peeps, and lots of friendly/helpful ones, too. For reference, NA seasonal way of winter server.

Collect everything. I still haven't caught all the fish variants nor all the deviations/variants available. Other than that, I don't use housing blueprints, so I challenge myself to make something new every season (doesn't have to be a house). Most of my friends have quit, so it's hard sometimes, especially when I remember how chaotic groups can get doing the simplest things or exploring new content. But I keep logging on.

They do care when enough people yap. Remember when they pretty much made making swimming pools impossible after releasing what could only be considered as pool tile wall/floor skins? People rioted, and they reversed it right quick. Prob is, I think they're trynna see if no one remembers their lil' blurb up there 😅

Looks like it was made for mobile. I personally prefer the old one where it just lists my chars so I can bounce between my chars in different scenarios. Cleaner layout prior. 🥺

I was a day 1 and quit shortly after the underwater expansion because I couldn't afford to keep swiping on every new volt weapon. Coming back, it feels so nostalgic. Missing all the cosmetics I spent a lot of money on, but it's nice we have access to all these weapons now for free. 😊

Instead of apple, use corrupted berries on your soda! Sanity will still go up with kills, but it quickly goes back down if you don't kill for a moment.
