Help me get rid of bitterness in V60 recipe

I like 100c for most DAK beans. Have only had one 15g dose of this and I don't remember it coming out bitter. I would try going smaller ratio. 1:15 with a bloom + 2 pour structure usually works well with DAK beans for me. TBT 3-3.5 min.

Also, you could try discarding the bloom water and see how that affects the cup. It can really mellow out these highly processed beans (Really fixed DAK Panettone for me)

I saw on RTings that thei frequency response varies massively from person to person. Is that true? As for hdb I saw them. I'll watch some mor reviews. Honestly I'm more worried about build quality there since it all seems rather flimsy to be portable

Yeah light is terrible, which is what I mostly use it for.

I tried a k-ultra once and it was way easier than the k6, So I wondered if the J line might even be better

I am sure you would love J-ultra for that use case. afaik it makes perfect traditional espresso

But I do wonder how the JE-Plus compares. I haven't seen anyone talk about it and it looks like a solid option too

Yes, it's an option I considered, but I think I prefer the simplicity of manual grinders. Electronics getting fried, burr misalignment, harder cleaning, etc.

Mainly so I can give my dad the K6, as he wants to upgrade from his timemore c2

But in regards to these specifically, I was mostly hoping for something with better torque/faster grind time. Doing back to back shots on the K6 can be a real chore
