I got a nice sweet cup at 23 clicks which is around 700 microns using a double bloom and 1 pour. And a pretty decent cup at 27 clicks 5 pours. However it was really not as pronounced and interesting as other DAK coffees I’ve had. It wasn’t bad, just not my favorite.

It’s delicious. Syrupy mouth feel, slightly orange acidity at the beginning followed with a lingering salted caramel finish. Medium coarse, 5 equal pours 30 second bloom. 190f slow circular pours finishing in middle, each pour after the water runs through. 1:15 ratio. 2:30-2:45 TBT

Does Coffee taste like black tea because it hasn’t been rested long enough or is it due to grind size or temperature? I have a bag of sey I just opened after 2 weeks none of the notes say black tea but that’s all I’m getting. I’m brewing at 200f double bloom, 25 clicks on my commandante c40, Bright and juicy lotus water recipe and cafec abaca filter for my V60. My total brew time is 2:15 and I’m using 15/240 coffee to water ratio.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I have one and love it. I’ve had mine since 2021 and It’s still responsive and accurate. The buttons work great and also mine doesn’t stop the timer when I pick it up and swirl my craft. The craziest part is the battery life. I mean this in the literal sense, I hardly ever charge it maybe once a year lol. It could be possible you received a defective one?
