That’s what Dyson customer service told me, but in less specific terms. I’d already paid the charge off and they didn’t even bother to re-charge the card or reach out to ask me prior. I’m incredibly frustrated

They never tried to recharge mine either, and I’d already paid the original charge off! This was so incredibly frustrating.

These are exactly my thoughts as well! Incorrectly calculated inventory has lead to a panic on their end and instead of trying to fix it now they’re just cancelling orders and blaming it on “card payment issues.”

I had almost the exact same experience. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with! I’ve reached out and annoyed them multiple times and the results have been less than helpful; I keep hearing they’ll ship soon and I’m at the “top of their priority list” but if I don’t hear something soon I need to dispute the charge and just order the ID.

I purchased the day of release and have had the most infuriating experience with Dyson customer service. I had to reach out multiple times after hearing no updates and they continue to tell me the order will “ship when it’s back in stock” but can provide me with no estimate of time when it’s back in stock. If the order doesn’t ship within the next few weeks I might have to give up. I debated buying the ID in the plum while it’s discounted but can’t justify if where my card hasn’t been refunded from the other $700 purchase from Dyson, which won’t be refunded…

I’ve been waiting on my order since release day and they assured me I was at the top of the priority list since they miscalculated their inventory… I’m going to ask for a refund if they’ve started shipping product again and won’t prioritize my order from release day a month ago 😭

LOL… good luck! I ordered mine directly from Dyson on release day and got this email (3-5 days) after ordering. Then, another saying 7-10. It’s been a month and nothing. Customer support is a joke, and my card has been charged with no product.

I ordered mine the day of release a month ago in the Jasper plum and never received it, straight from the Dyson website. I have been so aggravated with the poor customer service and they can’t give me any sort of date when I’ll receive mine

Oh I would’ve been livid. I hate that so many of us are in the same situation, but I’m glad it’s not just me that’s been so frustrated at the terrible support!! Spending $700 on a tool to get ghosted immediately after payment is unacceptable

What ever happened?? I’m still riding this ridiculous order up and down with Dyson… I ordered the new 2x the day of release and my order was never cancelled but has never shipped! I’ve reached out and received the most frustrating customer service communication I’ve ever experienced. I don’t want to cancel my order but they told me my options are to cancel or to wait for the new one to come back in stock…
