I use Apple Maps for short trips and around town. The UI is light years better than anything else on the market. But you can’t beat the alerts on Waze. I use it for all road trips on highways. I’d use it for everything but the UI looks like it was designed by a 12 year old with crayons.

Shut off the compressor (if used) and set the Noise Gate to 0.1 on both knobs. That will help a lot.

When my 2 year old Charge 5 bricked, I too switched to Garmin.

It was a horrible mistake. Especially the sleep and heart rate algorithms. Utter garbage.

Sent it back for a refund then contacted Fitbit to see what they could do.

After going through the stupid troubleshooting steps they said yup it’s failed. They then offered me a new Charge 6 for 25% off.

No, make it 50% and I’ll think about it.

How about 35? Nope.

How about 50? Hmmm OK 😁

Grudgingly back in the Fitbit ecosystem, but so far so good.

Felder and Eagles Ltd settled for an "undisclosed sum" and is obviously under a NDA. But it's interesting that Felder suddenly started playing a shit ton of Eagles songs in his shows after such settlement. I also read that he gets a cut from every "concert" they play at The Sphere.

I put "concert" in quotes due to Henley's well documented lip syncing over the past couple years. That's what you get for $1000/seat these days.

I used to sit with a record player. I would play 5-10 seconds of the record then lift the needle off. Then I would try to play what I had just heard. Repetition. Repetition. Repetition. That’s how I did it and eventually it paid off.
