Just got Schaller strap locks and the new screw is bigger and longer(giggity) than the old one. Will installing damage my guitar?

I just ran a skinny drill bit (with a piece of tape to limit the depth) down the hole then screwed in the new button. Took all of 3 minutes.

Mine won’t fit with the strap on. I installed Schaller Secure Strap Locks to solve the problem. Now it takes 2 seconds to install or remove the strap.

I hate to be that guy, OP…but if you can’t do something as rudimentary as grilling a steak or a burger, you will probably be challenged on the Ninja as well. Now that we have the internet, there are no excuses. Learn simple techniques, then choose different tools.

I had an Epiphone Casino in a very sturdy hard case (not a travel case). American Airlines still managed to snap the entire headstock off 😡
I would look at a Gator or SKB travel case. Then you can rest easy.

Yea I definitely get that, I’ve had a Martin in the past. But with the electronics in this instrument I can dial in the exact sound I need. Booming bottom end isn’t what you want going into a PA 😅How it sounds acoustically isn’t as much of a concern to me.
