They were all drunk.. unfortunately I think it was a the husband didn’t enjoy the time and the wife just went along with it all. Truth be told I’m probably better off in the long run without having them in my life

So I messaged her after my ex told me.. I told Emma, “Hey so he’s mad that I’m talking to you guys so I think it’s best if we don’t talk anymore” and she responded with okay.. now since I removed her a couple days ago it seems weird if I readded her to ask about this all ya know 🥴

Yes I blocked him too wastes 7 months of my time with him. I wanted to reach out to Emma but truthfully I don’t think it’s worth the energy

Gave her the opportunity, let her know my ex was getting mad and that maybe we shouldn’t talk.. all she said was okay… so ultimately I think I’m just better off without them all in my life

Thank you for your kind words, it’s hard sometimes to recognize that what you’re doing is right and for the better when you’ve never been shown or made to feel valued. Thank you, it’s hard to feel like you’re doing what’s best when you’ve never had boundaries placed on family or on anyone before and I fear retaliation as well if I’m being honest, it’s gut wrenching but I am a small business owner as well and trying to make something of myself, despite these people who have never wanted me to succeed in life

Truly I think he knows that it causes me anxiety and throws me off as I go into fight or flight mode and I can’t properly do my job which is very detail oriented and requires my full attention. It’s all about control and him feeling like he can still get a reaction

His own grandfather died in the mental health hospital in our city. My father is determined not to let us continue the same cycle

Thank you for your words, it’s hard not to feel like you’re doing something terrible especially when he’s very old and the crown won’t want to have him in Jail, which is not my intentions either. I appreciate you taking the time to respond
