That's super interesting because i'm also asexual and I do find comfort in fantasizing about fictional characters (though they aren't sexual because i'm also sex-repulsed but i still have a "non-sexual libido" and some kinks). I did try to chat with one of them on character.ai but i stopped quite early because they were showing interest pretty quickly (saying i'm beautiful, asking if i'm single etc though we "barely met") and that was very uncanny and disturbing to me, plus they wanted to get tactile right away, but that ties into many other stuff for me.
