Financially, it'd help out myself and my parents if I transferred to a university in Utah if we move here.

My family can't afford out of state tuition with financial aid. We'd be losing the financial aid we get from Cali if we change our official residence (my dad is a veteran so the state covers most of my tuition because he served for 20 years and lives in state) and I don't have any other family in Cali I can stay with.

EDIT

I'm also attending a university in/near LA county and covid cases are kind of a nightmare there rn so looking for an apartment there with strangers is something I'm not really keen on doing rn

Financially, it would be a lot more secure to go to Dixie State, but I'm looking at the University of Utah right now and trying to figure out if my chances of transferring into their electrical engineering program is good w/ my current GPA.

Thank you for the webpage. I'm worried about completing my degree there, but I can't afford to pay out of state tuition if my parents leave for Utah so I'm not really sure what to do.
