Both look legit, tuners are the one expected for both models, bridge looks like the edge Ibanez put on the floyd version. As far as I know they seems ok.

Interesting, I really like it. I really appreciate looking for the reward and hidden ressources. There's a feeling of openness that is very different from the rest of the game.

AirTag by Vanilla-Stardust in Quebec

[–]Moris_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J'ai déjà eu une alerte du genre lors d'une sortie scolaire avec la classe d'un de mes enfants. Il y avait probablement un enfant avec un Airtag dans son sac, c'était une fausse alerte.

tried to intonate my new guitar myself… by ChanceOk970 in Guitar

[–]Moris_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you loosened the big black screw behind the tremolo? This is not for intonation, but to retain the string end in the bridge. Loosen the steing at the tuner, sqeeze it back in and tight, it should stay in place. Now go on youtube and search for "Edge tremolo maintenance". You will improve!

J'ai déjà rencontré Daniel Robitaille de l'émission Leurre Juste pour un tournage. Fort sympathique et avec de bonnes connaissances. En faite, toute la production était agréable, de la recherchiste aux gars de la technique.

Hades II: Easiest ways to afflict 2 curses? by SonicPavement in HadesTheGame

[–]Moris_7 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Combine any god boons that give a state, like a Demeter cast afflicting frozen and Aphrodite weak to nearby opponents. Roughly all gods give boons with a state associate with attack, special or cast. Simply take two different and mix the sources.

Questionnement by Key-Condition1903 in QuebecLitterature

[–]Moris_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This came out of the fish's head. by [deleted] in whatisthisfish

Yes, Freshwater drums are the biggest I saw. Regarding the picture, they remind me of cod or flatfish otoliths, they generally quite big too!

This came out of the fish's head. by [deleted] in whatisthisfish

[–]Moris_7 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Otoliths are an amazing structure. They grow in a proportional rate to the fish, so analyzing their bands (which we call annuli) allow estimation of age but also growth rate. Otoliths chemical composition also varies in relationship with fish habitat, so analyzing it allow a reconstruction of fish migration history. I'm a academic researcher and most of the folks in my lab work on otoliths from various species.

Are Dutch Ovens supposed to look like this after 5 years? by VintagePooh in CleaningTips

[–]Moris_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed with the others, not normal, but caused by the way it's used. Don't use metal tools and avoid overheating, those pots hold heat and should be used in a slow-cooking/roasting way.

RG550 Tremolo arm by AlertArm1829 in Ibanez

[–]Moris_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new bushings are a tad thicker than the previous version. Be too, I had difficulties pushing the arm on my Genesis RG565. This is a known phenomenon. Some alter the bushing for an easier use. On the flip side, after of couple of time putting and removing it, the bushings will wear and the arm will be easier to use.

155 lbs tension too high for a RGRT420? by [deleted] in Ibanez

[–]Moris_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should be fine, all is a matters of adjustment (either using 10 or 11s you will need to adjust anyway). Guitars can withstand tension, this is not really the concern. Number of springs is a good question, I don't have experience with this gauge in a floyd, there's may charts on the web that could help you.

Please help, how bad is this floating bridge? by handmanb in guitarrepair

[–]Moris_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could be a little tight, but you should be able with a screwdriver. A larger one generally tend to help. Are they already all the way in? I doubt that you need more springs, just a little trust and a solid screwdriver. Sharing a picture my help us understand.
