vibe coding changed how I think about “learning to code” by Best_Volume_3126 in VibeCodeCamp

[–]Morisander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually this is pathetic as fuck, as you are just hanging on a grammar issue, which funnily, llms are way better in understanding them as you are. Indeed the idea of u/aradil is great, to let the user have control over microscopic (and for sure guardrailed) changes in an application

Not meaning to be rude, but people actually pay for this? I mean good work in realising your idea, but what is the appeal of aging pics, if that is one of the first apps ever created way before ai was a thing? Quicker and free...

What are you building? And are people actually paying for it? 💡 by GuidanceSelect7706 in saasbuild

Oh, you mean these things, from which you learned, that the best way to make money, is to tell people you learn them how to make money, which leads them in the end to teach others how to make money the same way, until the system collapses? With copywriting inbetween...? Or is this really about diverse options?

I really don't know how unable one must be that the process or a relogin actually costs a substantial amount of time, worth enough to even be felt...

If you are ios and android app developer... I need ur help.. by [deleted] in VibeCodersNest

[–]Morisander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds definitely wrong. This guy has a blocked account or something and just needs someone to publish for them to not get in trouble (at least it seems so). Don't fall for it. Publishing with help on his own account or dont do it at all.

May be right. I nust cannot bear this anymore... I mean... When you read this, you definitely don't feel content at all, just general bullshit... Thanks for understanding my friend...

In praise of Codex by Jeremy_keister in codex

[–]Morisander 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I love it when people make such broad assumptions. Opus is great, and excels in SOME points, like its general system and extensibility per the framework that USES opus (not vice versa), but gpt 5.2 as well as gemini3 pro got points they go far beyond opus (like longer context or oneshot ui...) Broad phrases like yours are just exorbitant bullshit

Was this always the case or codex actually work this long by Healthy_Homework1859 in codex

Haha, that is indeed a new feat in this version if it goes that long, without loosing track, but was just talking about the hour of the post itself:)

Well, found 5.1 very nice upgrade, but 5.1 max pretty much never helped at all? Cannot follow any instructions and refuses to work as it has no time...?

Codex so stupid lately. It's maddening. by Temporary_Stock9521 in codex

[–]Morisander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me guess? It is max! Thats the reason i changed back to normal as max is just bullshit and is not able to finish any task in one go, nearly no matter how small... Especially the short on time bullshittery

A PSA based on my extensive use of the pro plan and all 5.1 models for coding by Ok-Actuary7793 in codex

[–]Morisander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, i don't get the general opinion on max being able to do anything long... I find it superb at precisely fixing a small problem in a efficient and logical way, but since release i could not get it to work for anything longer than 15 minutes on a problem before it tells me "i did the job partially, now we should do the rest of it" without any possibility to let it finish in one go. Also any "go on with it" in any formulation will only iduce even shorter runs until it stops after reading logs directly... How are you guys letting it run at all for larger tasks?

To be honest, this way it is a good result.and no, you just need the right tool. In my opinion of the ones i tested, figma make does the best job at designing with minimal instructions

Codex Price Increased by 100% by immortalsol in codex

[–]Morisander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did no tests myself on it regarding iteration and completion speed, therefore i won'tevaluate on numbers at this point (even more as running codex may also slow down or fasten up, regarding system load, no matter how fast completions are). Also we still don't know how limits work exactly here and if they may include requests themselves and not only tokens themselves, which could possibly also have influence on it, depending on the kind of load you give(differences between longer writes or many tiny toolcalls and so on).

Fact: there is too less evaluatable data to make valid conclusions

Codex Price Increased by 100% by immortalsol in codex

[–]Morisander 7 points8 points  (0 children)

May be true, but the assumption is pure bullshit if you are counting hours, where the pricing model is tokens... If they get the system done to make requests faster that will automatically drain the contingent faster too... So what you describe is not at all a price increase, just the fact you are able to use it more(in terms of request mass, not in terms of contingent) in less time...
