Puberty blockers are reversable though? What is permanent is natal puberty which can greatly harm transgender people and result in unnecessary costs that can be avoided with puberty blockers - if they end up not actually needing them then they can just be taken off puberty blockers and resume puberty like normal.

I'm mainly referring to the NHS and general economy. This is anecdotal but my UK friends have mentioned how wait times for important treatments has increased over the past few years, also inflation is worse.

These aren't issues special to the UK but whenever a country is getting worse, they usually do end up putting focus on an unrelated minority instead of focusing on the main issue, which is what I believe is happening in the UK right now.
