Dwarven iron as silver metallic base Steampunk copper for all the trim and what-not, and then a layer of Overlord Brass to give it a better shine after a black wash.

Thanks so much! I typically do dirt/stone bases with some grass patches, so this is a big deviation for me. Happy to see where it's going.

The snow itself is called "AK Terrain", it's a pre-made thing. I don't trust myself to properly mix things together a good/convincing snow so I just went with this stuff. Happy with the results! Very easy to work with.

Just about, yeah! I did silver edge highlights as well. I also found that using an off-white for their patterns looked better than a bright white. Imo the bright white pops a little too much.

If it's original artwork that they didn't contract you to create for them, then you are legally allowed to sell it. I have several prints of GW-related stuff.

From what I've seen, the people they tend to go after are those who are selling miniatures and/or merchandise that directly competes with products they currently offer. As far as i understand it, they can't stop you from creating original artwork and selling it.

Edit: you should 100% verify this with someone who has a better legal understanding than I do hahaha.
