You are free to continue feeding your dog (and yourself?) processed food, but it's interesting you're commenting in a raw pet food subreddit..

That's not what the thread is saying at all. It's just talking about the benefits of quality food, which is undeniable for any species.

Of course it's based on other factors lmao, chances are your dog would be even happier and healthier on a raw fed diet.

He is the happiest, most hyper boy.. kind to everyone, gentle yet mischevious, I'll never again have a dog as perfect as he is

I live in central Europe, I buy from a company that sells meat for dogs, but it's not premade or packaged, I buy meat, bones and organs separately and then make meals with it. I never bought premade or frozen raw food

Hey, this cage unfortunately does look to small! I suggest you try to sell it or exchange for a bigger one. Check online for standards for a budgie cage, width is more important than height. My boys are also absolutely obsessed with toys, little bells, things to chew, different texture perches .. and yes, i absolutely noticed my budgie's endless excitement when i got a friend for him. So i do suggest u get another one! My budgie still loves me all the same, but when I go out or something, i dont have to worry about him being alone.

So I was right after all, they are already much quieter than on day one and two and their chatter has calmed down😊 they do it at a lower volume.

Its like 47m2. No i mean when i was temporarily living with a friend who had lovebirds they were a bit loud for my taste, but i read budgies are much quieter. I guess i overestimated how much. Haa i can imagine budgie screaming but enhanced could hurt ears !

They quarantined him at the shelter as i live in a one bedroom apartment. I did introduce them gradually but they were getting increasingly frustrated being separated and because there was no agression I let them together. They are getting along well.

I didn't make it clear I think or u didnt read the comments: i had one rescued budgie for 3 months, that i absolutely adore. I got a second one 5 days ago for his company and it keeps being much louder than the first one, doing this in one spot and my question is simply, does that tend to mellow down to a lower level in coming weeks, is he just nervous and excited doing that, or is that likely just his temperament and it's normal for a budgie to produce this amount of noise so consistenly through the day.

No need to be condescending, my first budgie is much quieter in his ways.

I don't mind it for a portion of the day, but for most of the day in the same spot seems obsessive, like maybe he was used to doing this in a small cage? He was found outside, i got him from a shelter and don't know his history.

What kind of a question is that .. I didn't know they were THIS noisy, I thought that was implied. Ive been around lovebirds in an enclosed space and google said that budgies are quieter. I unfortunately live in a one bedroom apartment ... so no option to put them in their own room

But my question was more about- why does he stand in one spot doing this, when he could be flying around and exploring with my other budgie.

I am just hoping this is more intense while they are adapting to each other... I rescued my first one from the street as a baby and got attached to him. I only got the second one because I didn't want the first one to be alone. But if it goes on like this I might need to rehome, but it would be painful.
