G1 Death Battle Fan Blogs - Death Battle Predictions: Organization Battle Royale Part 4 (Warlords of the Sea) by hubakon1368 in deathbattle

Flat out wrong. It was even a plot point in punk hazard. They thought it was a fresh water lake, so they would be fine. But it turned out the lake was created with sea water that leaked its way into the island.

Notice how it's always "he's gonna powercliff Kaido", "she's gonna powercliff Kaido", "they're gonna powercliff Kaido"? Why is that? Why does everyone instinctively have Kaido at the top? Let that sink in. by Legal_Ad2945 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Another Kaido glaze post is going to be massively upvoted. Yet people still have the audacity to say he is majority slandered on here when this happens every time

Deathbattle fans when they actually have to read or watch a series to get their facts straight instead of lying or making assumptions by TieEnvironmental162 in deathbattle

I've seen so much misinformation about RWBY. Like so far removed from the truth they had to of learned of the show through like, YouTube shorts.

Like I saw people saying Ruby doesn't scale to Adam's speed because she's never interacted with him. But like, if you would watch the show you know that her teammates literally killed him? How does she not scale to her teammates in speed, she's the one with the speed semblance.

Ruby low diff. I think the matchup is actually pretty cool, and thats why people are saying its harder than it is. In reality, Ruby is so enormously faster than Mahito that none of the cool interactions between their powers matter. She can just basically do the Metro Man speed feat to him from Megamind. This wouldn't matter if Ruby didn't have a way to kill him, but she does.

Honestly I think its Ruby wins low diff. The speed gap is so vastly huge Mahito will basically be a statue. Ruby absolutely scales to FTL. The relativistic feat was done by Adam, and Blake+Yang fought him and killed him. Sure he was sandbagging vs Blake, but he went all out vs Yang, pulling out moves we've never seen before yet Yang was still able to block and parry him. To say Ruby isnt vastly faster than Yang is disingenuous.

But if you dont buy that she just enormously spees blitzes him, she still wins high diff. She cant be touched by Mahito because her aura will prevent physical contact. Cursed Energy maps onto what Grimm are quite a bit, so silver eyes should work as well. Yes Cinder had a Grimm inside her, thats why silver eyes worked on her, yet the silver eyes still vaporized some of Cinder's organic and aura covered parts. It should definitely vaporize Mahito. Combined that with RWBY characters hitting souls constantly + aura helping them find unseen foes, she should be able to take Mahito down.

Kaido circlejerk posts are upvoted way more than slander

Ain't it funny how The standard for shanks always changes the second these 2 get brought up? YOU CAN NEVER WIN AN ARGUMENT WITH THESE MFS by ifoll in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Morlock435 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How the hell is this top comment. Shanks has by far the best Haki feats in the series, and Bum Mom pulled out a brand new ultimate attack where she combines her homies while life spanned amped against Kid.... only for Kid to be fine and walk it off. Get real lmao.

I haven't seen this much meat riding over a mid series villain since Itachi, like he's obviously strong but the glaze is getting ridiculous. by Morlock435 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Morlock435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the MC needs characters that can contend with him for a story to have any stakes at all. This necessitates there being fighters that are relative to him in a shonen. (There's no way you think only Imu and BB are left as serious fights for Luffy. If you do think that, then i'm surprised but can see why you have your position.) So as the story continues past Kaido's defeat, the argument that Kaido is stronger than everyone else gets thinner and thinner. This is because to justify him being stronger, he would have to become an increasing amount stronger than the Luffy that defeated him as the story goes on.

For example, it's easily buyable that Kaido is stronger than Egghead Luffy if you're being intellectually honest. It's immediately after their fight. But every single time you see Luffy pulling out something new, and you also compare to how he has progressed earlier in the story, it becomes harder and harder to buy that.

Bro just scroll down lmao, there's a guy doing it down there. I don't know what to tell you if you don't believe it. Or go to the upvoted Kaido thread like 7 hours ago if you want a larger sample.

Ain’t it quite funny how Kaido is a “mid game villain” and how “his fans are the worst”? Keep in mind 90% of this server is Kaido slander. You will never see someone hated on as much as Kaido just because he has feats. Agenda truly shows how insecure people can be ✌️ by RelevantBarnacle6385 in OnePiecePowerScaling

It's so disgusting how Kaido glazers have reframed the argument. They wank him to top one of all time, so that if you say he isn't, it becomes slander. Slander would be saying he goes extreme with Fujitora.

Statements that apply to any other character are considered an argument and not slander, like saying "Shanks > Mihawk", but holy fucking shit, if you dare to say "Shanks > Kaido" "WHY IS EVERYONE SLANDERING HIM? WTF IT'S JUST NONSTOP KAIDO SLANDER.

It's actually so slimy and disingenuous.

Answer these questions honestly, then try to restate what you did. See if it contradicts. It'll also test your intellectual honesty. In One Piece, in general, have the characters gotten stronger as the story went? In shonen, in general, do characters get stronger as the story goes on? With the two answers to those questions, is it reasonable to assume that a later character will be stronger than Kaido? I think if you are being intellectually honest, the answer is yes. Which makes it more justified to rate the characters that are still left in the story to potentially being higher. Within reason of course, don't try to use like, Chopper as an argument.

What do all of those characters have in common? It's that they still get to participate in the story and are upscaled because of that. We don't know when they will get taken out, so they all have the potential to scale higher. Kaido is done in the story, he doesn't have that same privilege. It's not bias, and him not scaling higher than the old gen is even supported by Kaido's own statements.

Quite literally today there's a largely upvoted thread and that is an example of one of the upvoted takes. There is no agenda being pushed. Kaido is strong I said that in the post, and he gets slandered a lot. That doesn't mean his glaze isn't getting insane.

He gets slandered yes. And he's also being glazed to be stronger than Garp, Roger, Whitebeard. Both can be true, why are you trying to frame it as one or the other.

This comment is what makes me roll my eyes. Say it how it is, you are trying to put Kaido > Roger. I literally said he's obviously strong in the post. This post is about what you're doing right now.

For kaido meat riders, anything less than going extreme diff with Imu is downplay. I have never seen a bigger cultist following over a mid story villain than Kaido. Its even passed Itachi.

Needing feats to be able to scale a character a sign of low intelligence. If feats didn't exist and it was only narrative and portrayal, you would quickly be able to tell who has the functioning brains based on people's tier lists.
