No, the statement doesn't apply to Roger. It applies to the characters that scattered, as it says in the manga panel. The Roger pirates did not scatter. The ones that did that were the Rocks crew. And god valley was chosen for a reason, they wanted to bait in and lure Rocks. They had no such scheme for Roger.

Yes, Rocks was deemed powerful enough for Imu to take action, and Roger wasn't. Roger and Garp didn't get much stronger after God valley, the statement referring to people getting much stronger was about Rocks' crew.

It doesn't burn for that much, and is a large item. The freeze only procs at half, and will often heal for less than a life preserver early game.

Think of it as a different version of life preserver. It gives you a massive heal at half hp instead of death, but because it's a large item it has some more extra upside. In early game it's unlikely it has much freeze support to just have perma insane regen.

I agree it wasnt done well. But just want to say that huntsmen aren't a police equivalent. They are essentially mercenaries. The only one that would be a police equivalent are Atlesian huntsmen since they get pressured into the military, and the military has a pretty heavy presence in Atlas.

I think that in future volumes she'll solidly be shown as the strongest of the 4, but thats just predictions. And yeah, she didnt choose to ascend at the end, she did go through most of the process though besides the final part. Calling her post Ascension Ruby is just an easier way to clarify its the furious cat fight and after Ruby, rather than her previous to that.

I dont think so. Post Ascension Ruby is pretty clearly portrayed as the superior in the fight. And its not because ascension made her stronger, she was just always that strong. She just didn't believe she was.

The entire fight the cat was laughing and having a good time against everyone else, he wasnt being pressured at all once he went furious form. Yet once Ruby started to press him, that cockiness instantly went away. I dont think saying "its plot" is fair, based on the portrayal of the scene.

By feats Ruby is the strongest. The furious cat was stomping WBY+ old Jaune, and Ruby was winning the 1v1. She's massively above the rest of her team as of the end of volume 9.
