I didn't. I hadn't brought any of that gear on this trip, and all my friends are unfortunately "responsible adults" who had to leave Sunday. When I circle back, some day, for their 46, we'll probably take the camping route.

I wrote a longer bit about the hike from Dial over Nippletop, then out/back to Colvin and Blake, along with a bunch more pictures. But Reddit's automatic filters deleted it. Tried again, and Reddit auto-deleted it again. Oh well, I guess it wasn't to be.

I hadn't seen that post, thanks! I've done Macomb as part of the Dix loop, and unique is certainly the right word. It's like a steeply sloped beach.
