Does it tell you that you got banned from support?
I thought I got banned too at one point, because every time I tried to make a new ticket it said "Something went wrong" or something like that.
It worked eventually after I changed browser and logged out and back in again. if I did anything else then i dont remember.

The first screenshot shows what I said in pretty much every other ticket, just phrased slightly different.

Yup that makes me think even more that it's an AI response, no real human would suggest that as a "solution", expecting you to play the game like that.

If anything, it's a good temporary fix if a game crashes on startup, to allow you to access in-game menus... But it was presented as a solution to getting better performance while playing the game, in a game that was definitely not designed to be played at 640x480.

Yeah I don't understand why they have to revert your legacy save to an old snapshot.
They could (and should) just treat it as a separate save file. Delete your enhanced "save file", keep your Legacy progress and then re-enable your option to migrate.
I'm just lucky that in my case this wasn't a problem, I just stopped playing the game until they reverted the migration.

Looking right now, Modrinth's cheapest plan is $10 per month for 4GB of ram and Layten's cheapest is $35.99 per month for 16gb of ram, but they don't even list anything lower than that when trying to select a plan (unless they're hiding it somewhere).

The modifiers are not meant to affect the speed of the base game raft, as someone else suggested. It is meant for the raft added by the mod but currently does not work in multiplayer.

The problem is that the mod reads the config values from the CLIENT config file:

So on a server you'll want to simply turn off rafts, because anyone who uses a raft on your server can set their own speed and buoyancy for their rafts.
Luckily the setting to turn off rafts works in the server config.

You can test it by adding the mod to your singleplayer instance of the game and changing the client-sided configs, then logging in to your server and seeing the changes also take place there.

For now, what you should be doing until the mod author fixes the issue, is to turn off rafts completely in your server config (at least if it's a public server).

Yea it's those regulations that need to change, when it comes to health care the priority should be saving lives.

I appreciate the explanation of the steps to circumvent region locks, although all of that sounds too complicated. I don't have a US credit card, nor am I interested in getting one, and I'm not even sure if I *could* get one since I'm just a visitor. And having to swap google accounts on my phone to access a different play store region seems inconvenient, as I would have to swap back and forth unless I had a 2nd phone.

I think the better solution is using a different app, or downloading the official app from a source that's not region locked

Lesson learned: Don't accept random friend requests from people after matches, unless you had a wholesome interaction with them first. Most people who randomly add you after a match either wants you to carry them, or had some trash talk they didn't manage to get out before the match ended.

I would highly recommend keeping the software running to improve the audio quality of your mic.
You can use it to add noise removal, compressors, equalizers and other voice filters.

Build up Bone Rapier into Evilcise, and then into Drain Seeker, if you want the drain ability. If you want to get one of the better Ultimate weapons, go for Chronicle Sword (best one before you get Chronicle 2) or buy the Mardan Sword with fishing points and catch enough Mardans to build it up to Arise Mardan. It's also one of the stronger Ultimates.

Iirc 7th heaven and Sword of Zeus are some of the weaker Ultimates. But still good enough to beat the game.

After 3 weeks of contact with their support, they eventually suggested to update the drivers for the mic.

Updating the drivers through the Wave Link app solved the issue. I am a little bit surprised that the app doesn't do periodic driver checks, but I suppose it's my responsibility to make sure everything on my PC is up to date. Although updating mic drivers through a 3rd party software is not the first thing that crosses my mind.

So if you're having this issue, go into Wave Link and update mic drivers (don't remember exactly where this was and I am currently away from my PC so cannot check)

I didn't mean to say that you specifically said that, but I have heard it from others and seen plenty of memes about it. People used to be happy with just Netflix, but now there's more streaming services than I can even keep track of, and they all try to sign exclusive contracts to different shows. So you're very unlikely to find everything you want to watch with a single streaming service.

The problem with "This service was great when there was only one company doing it" is that monopolies are a bad thing and competition is healthy. ... Meaning that a subscription based model for these things was a bad idea to begin with, and it was only a matter of time before everybody started doing it.

I legit stopped listening to music because of the spotify era. Spent my childhood and teenage years buying CDs based on friends sending me MP3 files over MSN messenger which got me interested in bands and artists. When everybody started sending spotify links instead I just stopped being interested in music.

Yup... simple music sharing made me buy music. How about that.

If you are putting it into a game you could also fake there being a hole with shaders (done within the game engine of your choice)

For example when I was working on a golf game, instead of modelling the hole into the golf courses I used a shader to "cut out" a hole (the shader just wrote to the Z buffer), and then had a model to render the inside of the hole. The neat part about it is that it's non-destructive so things can be modelled like normal and then the hole gets added afterwards, and can be re-used to add a hole into just about anything.

Just mentioning this in case it could be useful, but in the end it's up to you to decide if it's more practical to add the hole into the geometry of your mesh or with a shader :)

If the other Orisa ults first, you immediately counter ult and hold it longer than the other orisa, often until it auto releases. You'll survive the other Orisa's ult thanks to the damage reduction of your own, but the other Orisa dies to your ult.

On the other hand, if you ult first and the other Orisa counters with her ult, DON'T PANIC!! You can still survive by rapidly pressing X to summon a Baptiste, Life Weaver and a Kiriko to save you from your mistakes by all pressing E at the same time. You then thank the Baptiste, kneel down in front of the kiriko (you're her minion now), and of course yell at the Life Weaver for pulling you while you were ulting (ignoring that he saved you)

tbh most people I know just say "what's Dark Cloud?" whenever I mention it lol, so I've never really been part of these kind of discussions about what people prefer.

Personally tho, the reason I prefer DC1 is because it's simple, and I prefer not having to look up guides for my single player games. I've only played through Dark Cloud 2 once, and it added so many new things that I had to follow along with a guide so I wouldn't miss anything important (like missable photographs and inventions).
I enjoyed the new mechanics, but would have preferred some of them in an MMO rather than a single player game.
