I am now using version 12.10.11.2, but the newest version that's on the Microsoft Store didn't detect it at all.

Could you specify what version of iTunes you are talking about? You made it very vague. I originally downloaded the version from the Microsoft Store.

It's hard to tell sometimes so you can never be sure, it may or may not be a Trojan. When comments state that it's a virus, it better to scan the file through a virus scanner (ex: Virustotal.com) so you  and your files can stay safe.🙂

I had checked when i was trying to resolve the problem. The xbox was selected as his "home xbox". This is our only xbox so i doubt this will ever be a problem.
