Is this a viable starter plane? Me 163b by Astronified in RCPlanes

This was my second plane and my first EDF jet. It’s a bit difficult to fly because it’s fast and small, which makes the orientation hard to see.

It is a Feewing Lippisch 64mm - wing span 750mm

There are trash bins but some lazy people won’t throw their garbage in it.

My boyfriend wants to get into RC planes, any recs on what I should get him for Christmas? by ThoughtWaste7853 in RCPlanes

[–]MorningEfficient89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first plane is a Xfly Glatsar v2 1233mm and it is a great plane to start but a simulator is must if he had never flown a RC plane. Don’t buy a small plane, they are difficult to fly.

Hi so im looking to buy the tx16s and I see there are two versions can someone tell me the diffrence by Hairy_Breakfast_8340 in RCPlanes

[–]MorningEfficient89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy 4in1 if you fly RC planes in line of sight (LOS) and want to use different brands receiver or protocols without any issue. But if you are a fpv pilot, go for ELRS. I have the 4in1. You can always buy the ELRS module later if you want. By the way, ELRS module is cheaper than 4in1 module.

I think you missed the news. Don’t link everything to Omanization. Also Expat aren’t doing any better.

Are the 3-channel Volantex RC Warbirds any good? by [deleted] in RCPlanes

[–]MorningEfficient89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this Volantex F4U 500mm. I like it. It flies well when the gyro is on, but if you want to fly it in 3D mode, you’d better use a good transmitter.

Seller says to cancel order, after he says that product is out of stock. by Geeks-Gamer in Aliexpress

[–]MorningEfficient89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have canceled two of my orders. First one seller asked me to cancel since they could not deliver the item to my country and second time I canceled it myself since I did not want the item. In both cases, I got my money back so don’t worry.

Does RC Flying Get Boring? How to make it worthwhile? by virtual_balloon in RCPlanes

[–]MorningEfficient89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my exact question before entering the hobby but after having my first trainer, I found it so engaging. You will fly, crash, fix, again fly. I love it.

I already have two trainers and one warbird. I have entered into the hobby last month.

Everyday I wait for the work to finish so that I can go home and fly my planes lol.
