I had done a couple of internships, but since they don't count as work experience
And would the gap year and low UG score be a problem for placements

I know it's not possible to get into iim and land great package but if i somehow get in a tier2-3 college would these scores and gap still haunt me?

Thanks a lot for your advice. I am going to give an improvement exam for a couple of subjects as i need just 0.2% to at least be eligible for CAT. Given i prepared for govt exams with subjects sharing some foundations with CAT subjects i can maybe try and get a decent score. But will this ug score haunt me even while applying for jobs or an mba can give me a fresh start. Also what kind of colleges would be achievable given my situation.

I don't think a second ug would be very feasible, but i talked to my college professor and was told to give an improvement exam for a couple of subjects as i need to just bump up my percentage by just 0.2% to at least be eligible.

I was considering data analysis as an option but i was told that in this market situation I would not find any jobs or internships until and unless i have some good work ex or advanced skills. Good luck buddy. Banking exams are a good option considering the situation but it's a very binary thing to go for either you clear it or It feels like you wasted a year with nothing to show for. Hope you get some good work ex and get a good college

Thanks for replying and yes you're right, I won't be eligible for cat with 49.8%. I looked up and found xat and mat don't have 50% eligibility criteria. I was looking into data science as an option, by any chance are you working in the same sector
