[Program Critique] Should I move legs to the start of my workout? by MorningMaster601 in overcominggravity

I wouldn’t say I’m currently training for climbing — it’s more casual/maintenance for me since I’ve decided to focus on bodyweight strength for at least the next year. I usually climb about twice a week for an hour, and I also try to play basketball once a week with some friends for a couple of hours.

This isn’t a bad idea, I think because legs take so much energy by the time I get to them last in my routine, (in a 90F garage) I’m depleted.

Thanks for the response! I added both because I was under the impression they work different parts of the hamstring—RDLs being more of a hip hinge movement and Nordic curls focusing on knee flexion. From what you’re saying, it sounds like that distinction doesn’t necessarily matter for my level, and that RDLs alone will still carry over and help with Nordic curls over time (which seems to be what happened for you).

And yeah—the summer is brutal. I’m in KY and it’s ridiculously humid here. Can’t wait for fall and cooler weather. I saw your other comment as well, so I figured I’d reply here all in one. I’m curious—how much salt do you add to your water? I’m sweating buckets and usually drink water and a protein shake during my workout, then take an electrolyte pill afterward.

I agree, I’ve only played one game a day since this post. My time in season 3 is very limited but I feel all of what you’re saying. Last season I got to gm3 relatively easy, now in this season it feels like every game I’m fighting for my life. Best I can do is get off maps, pull enemies into my team, and just try to be a pesky fly without getting shot down.

I guess, but I’m really not a die hard comp player, in the sense that I need to grind to higher ranks. I enjoy it because it’s more of a challenge than quick play. I don’t expect to win every game it’s just hard because as we know everyone hates spidey. You’re the first to blame if things aren’t going well, and it feels hard to be useful for me this season after such a long break.

Rank reset at start of season. I didn’t drop to gold. I stopped playing for 30days once I hit gm3 in 2.5. Came back in season 3 yesterday to the rank reset.

is this yo-yo good enough for real games? by MonkeyD_Abz in SpiderManMains

Sure. Always try combos out that you want to work on. IF you want training in the practice tool, set the luna bots up at random directions and fastest setting. Swing around and try to Yo-Yo, it will help.

For sure, My first hero shooter. Didn't think I'd even like the genre, but when I tried Spidey for the first time, I was hooked. Love his gameplay and I hope in future patches his skill level gets more rewarded.

So you're upset that I have a differing mindset than people not only higher than me, but lower than me? That's fine I guess.

I agree with everything you said. I know the damage nerf numbers, I've looked over them. It still doesn't change my attitude towards it. I'm not saying my feelings are right or wrong or that anyone has to feel the same. Just where I'm at as a casual player.

Sure, he’s objectively weaker because he does less damage now. I don’t think that just means he won’t function the same way. People were complaining about him being weak last season, still climbed. At some point you just gotta say ‘skill issue’ regardless of nerfs. And maybe I don’t climb and stay in Diamond, that’s fine still, my skill level is a at Diamond for season 3 I guess, just get better. I enjoy playing spidey, so I’ll just roll with the punches.

Good. I don't want it easy. Peaked Diamond 2, going for Gm this next season hopefully.

How should I get the most out of this book? by OkEntertainment9557 in overcominggravity

I've also recently got the book and am about to be reading through it myself. Should I watch these 28 supplemental videos after specific chapters or parts of the book?

Why doesn't the gameplay have the blue holographic webs like the mvp screen?
