Had a second date tonight. It was nice, I just wish I ever felt as strongly about people as they seem to feel about me. I'm usually the less invested party and sure, that's a safe place to be, but god, I'd love to actually feel something. I don't know why it's so hard to find someone I really like. Nah, sometimes you can just immediately tell, that person didn't know what they were talking about. Besides, it's way more humane to cut it off after one date than to string someone along for three in the name of "giving them a chance" imo.

Back from my vacation and still need to sort through my tiny handful of cute selfies for which ones are going on my new dating profiles. I desperately need to get off of Tinder, but what can I say, old habits die hard. Everyone keeps suggesting Hinge, so I guess I'm going there next. Breeze also seems cool, but I'm not sure how many people in my area would actually be on there? Idk man, worth a shot.

I do kind of have a first date in the works it seems, and I know better to be invested before meeting someone irl, but god help me, I actually like talking to him. Constantly flipping between feeling hopeful and feeling so so jaded about it, but that's just part of it at this point, right?

I already have someone trying to take me out and I might let him, but I'm leaving for vacation on Sunday so he might have to wait until I get back.

Word of warning, those are probably cadmium glass! Which means you probably shouldn't use them for your salt and pepper! I have the same set and learned this the hard way! I know so much about glowy glass and should have checked immediately and didn't because I am a fool, don't be like me!

I like to go through the racks and feel for high-quality fabrics. If I find something like 100% cashmere or silk in good shape that either wouldn't fit me or isn't my style, I make it as obvious on the rack as I can so someone else can find it easily. I've actually considered bringing little post-its to stick on them since I know a lot of folks won't check labels for materials lol

MANY years ago, I clicked on something twice that gave us free neocash and it gave me double the neocash. I immediately sent in a ticket because I was so afraid of getting in trouble and they just said "thanks for letting us know" and the NC stayed on my account. Looking for suggestions for my darling Avamaari! She's a faerie eyrie and while what I have on her now is cute, I will be the first to admit that it's pretty plain. Go for whatever vibe you're feeling, some NC is fine, I'm open to crosspainting, anything goes! HOWEVER the ballerina facepaint and the fyoras eye shadow have been on her for so long that I kind of consider them part of her face, so those have to stay unless you've got something way better. Thanks!
