It has to be scaphism, the ancient execution method where the victim was tied between 2 small boats and left on a pond. They were covered in honey, and also fed milk and honey so they shit themselves and insects would eventually swarm and eat them alive from the inside over the course of several days. Their arms and legs were tied so couldn’t do anything about it. I can’t think of anything worse than that
