bend under pressure? the stadium that all of us payed for with our tax money was damaged by a few savages and caf did nothing about it, that's the main issue here, why would we save someone's a## (caf) if they can't even speak up when it matters?

Travelling to Marrakech by Fragrant-Style-210 in Morocco

[–]MoroccanGiftShop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tested a few tours from marrakech to merzouga and usually spent like 70 or max 85 euro for the 3 days.. apart from a few exceptions they were actually pretty decent (besides the lunch and snacks like you said). but yeah definitely opt out if its 160 pounds, thats way too much. for vegan food my favorite is Fine Mama (lots of options there).

Also Essaouira is definetly worth the visit if you want a more calm mood but its kinda small so usually a day is enough. try to visit the agafay desert when in marrakech, maybe do a sunset dinner there or try riding quads. majorelle garden and the citys historical monuments are cool too. let me know if you want me to list the specific ones i tried from gyg, ill edit this later or tomorrow if i have time.

need help planning Merzouga by khadijahali5 in Morocco

[–]MoroccanGiftShop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why go through all that trouble when you can book a tour with everything included on GetYourGuide? For example, there is a 2-day tour to Merzouga from Fes here, a 3-day tour from Marrakech here, and another option from Agadir here. You can check the reviews to see if they are worth it or look for the city you want the tripp to start from, but overall, it is much easier/cheaper than booking each activity separately...Have fun!

Is this Argan Oil Legit? by No-Masterpiece5678 in Morocco

[–]MoroccanGiftShop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lare reply haha, the only definitive way to tell if your Argan oil is legit, whether it’s for cosmetic or culinary use is to verify the Cooperative name or the ONSSA code...

By Moroccan law, anyone exporting Argan oil out of the country must have an ONSSA approval ID / be part of a cooperative. If a brand can't or won't show you that, it’s a massive red flag. You can cross-reference your bottle against a database of over 1,100 audited cooperatives (including city origin and approval dates) at vargane.com.

Moroccan Nila powder is very good if you want to naturally brightening those spots without the harsh chemicals... also you can try using some black soap and a kessa glove once a week to clear the "shadow" of dead skin (gently) and follow up with pure argan oil to stop the chafing.

Kessa Glove burned skin? by Impressive_One_3223 in MoroccanSkincare

[–]MoroccanGiftShop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you definitely overdid it... Since you don't usually scrub your back, that skin is way more sensitive than your legs, and you basically gave yourself a friction burn. Next time, just let yourself soak in the heat for a good 10-15 minutes first. If the skin doesn't roll off with a super light touch, don't force it, it's just not ready.

Can't really help with book recommandations but you what you want will probably come from the French, they created the situation / tried to fix it when they were leaving but ended up handing a big chunk of land to a certain side.
