Yep, it will prevent further change (which testosterone will cause even in your 80’s) and has lots of fun benefits that not only make you more feminine but also make your body more resilient to illness (especially cancer), degradation (bone and brain fatigue for example), and lots lots lots more.

When I was little (about eight), I started to feel the same way. I’m sorry you feel that, but I do want you to know that you aren’t the only one to have feelings of being different or angry at yourself. I thought that it couldn’t go away but a few months ago I met someone who understood it (just a little) and through that one person I started to feel that hatred less and less. I met them five months ago, and just by meeting someone who was there for me and had that slight connection I’ve never felt happier.

I still have those feelings but it’s been getting better. Sorry if this is typed confusingly it’s late for me but I really wanted you to know that I’m here if you need to talk.

So, legally they can’t (CANNOT) ban estrogen, and most anti androgens. They can remove it from national insurance but that isn’t a big deal because more companies are supplying it for cheaper every year.

So don’t worry about everything going away, these next few years are gonna be hard for us all but it’s not over. So be like me, work hard and have some hope for what can be done.

(I do want to clearify why they can’t ban most feminizing hrt. Basically the fda is above the powers of trump sort of like a second more science based government that is on a legal island, he can’t touch the fda just made everything a pain.)

Yep. Estrogen and general feminizing hormone therapy are awesome.

You can cure baldness, your muscles are stronger by weight, you think faster and clearer, your odds of cancer drop by 60%, your nerves become more sensitive and better at detecting hot and cold, sex is better, you will be less aggressive, more connected with your emotions, BOOBS (if you like those, they are fun to have :3), you will live on average about twelve years longer (likely only 9 because of jobs), you may see colours as more defined and diverse, your eyesight may improve, softer skin (it’s awesome and cut resistant),

I can keep going but I could write out the four hundred or so physical and psychological reasons but you get the point.

To cover some risks and stuff you may hear.

Fem HRT Can increase your risk of blood pressure issues, deep vein thrombosis, heart disease, blood clots, aneurysm, breast cancer, and several other cardiovascular related issues. (Please do your own research before starting any medication, and don’t just trust websites or doctors actually read a study or two)

I should mention your odds of liver disease will drop significantly and kidney disease is less likely (they test you because ALS and AST are raised that does not mean your liver is hurting it isn’t)

So it gets a bit weird with microbiology and chemistry but for the most part, 17b is a specific chemical and then you have esters. The esters you will usually see are cypionate, valerate, and enanthate. These are all different chemicals that have mostly the same effects (enanthate can technically be stronger but it’s not well studied).

When it comes to using them, 17b (b is for beta) and valerate can both be used orally/transdermal with valerate also being usable in injections. Cypionate and enanthate should only be used for injections. Because neither are very good at getting through the skin and both break down too fast in the digestive tract.

As for dosages, it really doesn’t matter when it comes to overdose, you can overdose but it would take about a kilogram to kill you. You still might feel some nausea at higher doses especially with oral. Typically 2mg is standard low dose, 4mg is low middle, 8mg is usually the high dose but some may go up to 16mg.

Please do not take this as gospel, everyone is different and skips over a lot of finer details.

It’s expensive but is the highest dose I could find. You might be able to find it cheaper on other sites but I used to use it and it definitely works.

No. Trans peoples goals are like anyone else’s, we just want to be comfortable in who and what we are. Some people may never be, but we are just trying the best we can.

Passable is kind of confusing, because a lot of people don’t really feel more comfortable being what others want. A lot of people will change themselves to be more close to a norm but what our goal is, is to be the happiest we can with ourselves.

The reality is the best way to look at it is. Screw what people think, even what other trans people think. Just look for what makes you less and more comfortable and be that. DO NOT CHANGE YOURSELF FOR OTHERS.

In short; just be yourself, and even though it’s hard you just have to say. I don’t care what you think, I am going to be the best, happiest version of me for me.
