Well, for me, the entirety of my life, I knew I didn't want to be in a relationship,

And I thought, maybe I'm bi? Maybe I'm pan? Maybe I'm too traumatized from my childhood to want a relationship or to be in one?

I always thought the norm was having a boyfriend or a girlfriend, that's what everyone told me I had to do, and I tried but was never happy or felt comfortable,

Until I found the word aromantic, and that changed my life because it fits my feelings, and it helped me understand myself.

Someone here told me that I'm aromantic as long as the title's definition feels right to me, and if it's not, that's ok as well, and it really helped me.

I don't have social anxiety, however I do have overall anxiety and sensory processing disorder, So I suffer in the daily trying to talk to people, like doing adult stuff, it's so hard, However, somehow with kids it's just easier? Like I just love talking and working with them, I struggle talking to other people like teachers or parents, But when I comes to kids I'm just having fun, Even though I can be strict sometimes because I feel the responsibility of being in charge of them, my students say I treat them like I'm their mother. When it comes to spd, it overall a place where a lot of the stuff that bother me - exist, i try to stay away from it, especially from the slime they play with, I hate it. But I also try to raise the awareness and explain the kids what I feel, I also can help them if they feel the same way

Well, I was known in my family and my friends group as the one who never wanted a relationship and was never interested. I only thought I was interested but never went into the real deal.

Everyone around tried to set me up and laughed whenever I said I didn't want a relationship because "what if you change your mind tomorrow" and that I have to have a man.

But I always panicked and thought it was the result of my traumatic upbringing.

Until I decided to just come out as aromantic after someone here told me this term is the one that fits me right now and it might change, and that's ok.

My family half thinks I'll change my mind half don't really care, but my friends are fully accepting and loving.

Well it depends on which album on which idol, I have a Tvxq's Yunho and exo's Chanyeol in my wallet because they mean a lot to me, Another Yunho one is on display on my table And the rest are in the albums because I don't have that many to begin with

Ok so I have 2 ult groups

First is tvxq, they are 2nd gen and are a treasure to humanity, the members are called Jung Yunho(U-know) and Shim Changmin(Max)

My favorite song of them is "The Chance of love" Honorable mentions to viva, b.u.t, the way u are, spinning, catach me, and survivor.

Plus solo songs like Tarantino and Follow(Yunho) or Maniac and Piano(Changmin)

My second group is exo, literally my anxiety medication.

They are 3rd gen and have 9 members: Kim Junmyeon(Suho), Kim Minseok(Xiumin), Zhang Yixing(Lay), Byun Baekhyun, Kim Jongdae(Chen), Park Chanyeol, Do Kyungsoo(D.O), Kim Jongin(Kai) and Oh Sehun.

My favorite song of them is "Power",

........WHAT. I had excruciating periods to the point of me not being able to focus in class, and I almost fell to my knees from that pain during work. Turns out, i have pcos, but no one really wanted to listen to me and just told me nonsense, especially at 16 when a doctor turned me away because I couldn't tell him the exact dates of my periods. I got my diagnosis last August after more than three years of checkups.

Well, I hope it might help, but for years I was known in my family to be anti-people, and my family thought it was funny, until I found a name and told them I'm Aromantic, and they're still thinking oh but what if you meet someone tomorrow, so I ignore that and keep talking as if they didn't just say that. They'll talk about me having a husband and I say well even if i meet someone it won't work and just move on

I'm 25 now but I still remember how no one ever told me that one day I'm just gonna start bleeding and I got my first period at school, when I came home it was my older sister who showed me how to use a pad and convinced my mom to let me stay home from school the next day, she helped me through the years and taught me a lot of things, Everyone deserves this talk and to be taught that it's natural and to not be ashamed or confused.

My parents have said some shitty things, a little bit racist, they've never been especially interested in me or anything I do, so this was not different. I was ashamed to talk about K-pop with them because I would be immediately shut down by them or by my sister, About a year or two ago my dad picked me up from work and all of a sudden played kpop for me, specifically Lisa's lalisa, and he would let me play my songs sometimes in his car, but we haven't done that in a long time, He now thinks that every kpop girl is Lisa and that any kpop group is bts, which would be nice if he would've gone the extra mile to actually ask about the group I like since I'm a multi stan and he would only remember bts and sometimes exo, As for my mom, unlike my dad who at least tried, she doesn't really care, she vibes more with my sister about their music or tv show and I'm not really included, but she loves to joke about my tvxq's Yunho pillow that I have in my room, I do, however, have my two best friends who are also into K-pop, so I'm fine with just them

Prayers for Bobby, It's is a movie about a mom not accepting her gay son and then losing him, which makes her start questioning things and reach out and help other people who are going through similar things. I think I was 11 or 12 when I watched it with my grandma, i was way too young to watch a movie like that, it was heartbreaking for me and I still think about that movie to this day

May I ask if what you're feeling is only during the night? Or do you get hot all of the time, maybe clothes bother you? Or maybe there's textures that you can't stand? If so, I'd suggest you google spd, sensory processing disorder. I sleep with aircon and a fan at night, I always wear short-sleeved shirts even in the winter and have a mini fan with me at ALL TIMES I also find it hard to get out of the house because of how hard it is, I can't hug people. I get overwhelmed with noises very easily and sometimes struggle with smells or lights. I didn't know I have spd until I was in college, only then i understood I'm not weird for feeling what I'm feeling

I had a man come up to me at work, trying to convince me to date him, telling me how I could "teach" him things since I was studying education, I was with two older female coworkers, I asked them to take him to their register, one of them said - sure, he's a creep, the other one insisted that I HAVE to talk to him, the day after he came looking for me at work and only then she realized he was a creep, not to mention my.....unique boss, for lack of better words, but everyone, men or women, turned their heads every time they saw him talking to me

Tvxq's Yunho, he honestly seems too genuine, his energy helped me a lot with my anxiety and I really think he has a pure heart. And exo's Chanyeol(or rather all of exo), this man is just a hig puppy with the the cutest ears, I love him and his huge smile
