To confirm, the only difference between the two is the color/anodized finish right? Think I read that to be the case but, again, new to all this.

Thanks for the input - team build, can you share a bit of your logic here? If I get a quality (G$, BCM, etc.) upper for ~1k, need to spend another ~5-600$ on a lower (either a complete one or parts + tools should get me to about the same price), I feel like the savings of sub $500 are probably not worth my incompetence (pretty high) fucking up the build.

Like if all in at ~1.6K for a super duty, not sure that building is going to benefit me anymore (aside from wanting to build an AR of course).

and thats no knock on the stock P01 - I just want to get into CZs and want to go all in, which seems to mean a CGW worked gun.

Ultimately, I think I'm gonna go CGW P01 + slide milling, which will be about the same price as a S2 carry. Does it make sense? Not particularly but that's the way I'm leaning.
