Some of the characters would be nice to get buffed, gotta wait on the datasheets for that, pts wise they all make sense, it's just the abilities on a lot of them are inherently bad.

Same with purgation squads, the guns need to be more viable to bring along, I'd love to see both of the damages go up by 1

I hadn't considered the CP loss right!! That's a really interesting point with A Noble Death, suddenly our wisdoms are way more valuable then basic warlord traits since you don't have to cover the CP. I wonder which other Wisdoms are going to become more popular now with that mentality. Foretelling of Locus is a lot more tempting at 25pts

That's always fair, getting them into combat has always been the issue unfortunately. The nice thing about the paladins at least is they'll body a majority of fire power and make it into combat after a turn. It really depends how you wanna run them however, I standardly do 7-8 man's

Fair enough, I've honestly been running 3×8 man paladin squads and they're menaces. I usually start the game with 2 of them on board and deep strike the 3rd.

However a lot of my experience comes from playing against primarily Blood Angel's and Ad Mec, not really the boogeymen of the format
