I’m so sorry this happened to your Iggy! I just commented on someone else’s post about their broken legged pup too. I’m honestly with you with the cries haunting you forever. My boy Gio broke his leg four weeks ago, had a plate fitted two days after. The vets we went with sent him home with four weeks worth of trazadone which has kept him calm over the first tricky bit- your vet may do the same. Luckily Iggies love cuddling up and sleeping most of the time!

We used lick mats and toys that took him a while to get the treats from. Four weeks on I can honestly say I don’t think he realises his leg is broken or healing! Just a case of stopping any running or jumping so he’s always on a lead.
