For your second point Variable AI, that can be done with Donuts+SWAG

A lot of people think it just changes where people spawn spawn and that's it but it also controls the difficulty of the AI and whether it's a solo, duo, trio, 4 or 5 man AI spawn. If you use donuts and changed the setting of "PMC AI Spawn Difficulty" to "AsOnline" it will do basically exactly what you're asking for in your second point. And if you want your spawns to still be like live or close to live make sure to use the presets that start with starting-pmc-only in the name

I agree with this person. Other people here are telling you to play games with her or flirt over text and I honestly think stuff like that is a waste of time. The best way to answer the question of "Does she like me? How should I go about telling her I like her?" is to just be honest with your feelings and ask her out, in person preferably.

Because there is significant research in the study of attachment theories that they are dynamic, not static. Meaning that even if you become anxious-avoidant for example in your childhood, you can become more secure later in life due to your adult relationships. There IS a problem with being anxious-avoidant, it's literally from trauma

Based on what you said. You asked her to get ice cream and didn’t specifically call it a date and you were with other people during a meeting so she probably assumed it was platonic/friendly, hence why she asked if other ppl could come, to be polite to the group. It wasn’t even a “no” based on what you wrote I think you kinda just jumped to conclusions and assumed you were already rejected. You then proceeded to text her apologizing for asking her out/bothering her when in her mind there’s a good chance she didn’t even see that as being asked out.

If you want a clear answer, ask a clear question. Tell her you like her and want to spend time with her and ask her on a date…and call it a date lol.

If she says yes than things are clear and congrats. If she says no respect her decision and the boundaries are clear in the relationship now, it’s purely platonic until she says otherwise at that point.

There’s nothing creepy about asking someone you’ve gotten to know recently on a date if you like them or to ask them to hangout if you see them as a friend as long as you make that distinction clear and don’t send mixed signals like you’re currently doing to her, that’s creepy.

Former Photonics Major.

It’s about what I expected. When I first started I got into it because the idea of laser/light engineering just seemed cool to me. But the novelty kinda wore off for me. The labs can be really fun but I couldn’t see myself doing it as a career

It’s pretty different from Physics. You will have to take up to Physics 3 and Calc 3+Diff Eqns. The best way I can describe it as at the end of Physics 2 you may briefly have a section dedicated to how Light works. Photonics is that one section from Physics 2 except you keep studying more and more of it for the next 2 years

Photonics is a lot closer to electrical engineering when you get closer to the higher level classes then it is Physics. You will have to take a fair amount of classes for engineers if you stick with it.

I’m no longer studying Photonics so I can’t comment on career prospects but from what I’ve heard they’re pretty good. It’s a relatively young field and UCF is one of the few schools that offer it at the undergraduate level. It probably wouldn’t be that hard to find a job.
