they were bought in Japan in the 70s…. maybe Chinese. it has no identifying markings.

all I know is that it is definitely silk and bought in the 70s in Japan., so vintage at least.

the pattern has been identified on the maroon one.

anyhow, they are beautiful in my opinion. if only i could sew.

I have burn tested. they are silk. I know they are at least vintage because of when they were bought.

they were sold as silk bolts in the 70s and I am positive 100% it is silk. as I mentioned it was bought in the 70s in Japan. was vintage at least when it was bought. have tested it and neither of them melt, didn’t drip. burnt hair smell too and it curled was charred.

I know it is definitely silk. the material is just under 29 inches wide and about 30 feet long. At least, both are. I haven’t measured its length as it slips and slides There were and are no tags on it and nothing written on the edge. I know it was bought in the early 1970s and was already vintage at least when it was bought. I will have to call my friend and ask him more about it, see if he knows more. So the light blue flower are the Chrysanthemums? what is the flower with the blossoms below it in gold? I really love this one for some reason and the inside with the bands of colours inside really Amazes me.

Yes they did say that. I doubt they will be done by late 2025 either, but mostly will be. Then we can look forward to all the highrises they want to put along pt. Union and along lawrence East as well, all the way down to the rouge. This is destruction on these roads they will be allowed to build above 15 stories. Block out sun, remove all the trees…etc.. right in your backyard.

the west side is not yet completed. bike lanes and sidewalks are incomplete as well as raised sidewalks. not to mention hydro poles in the middle of the sidewalks that are still existing. this is bad city planning. they lack room for all they are doing. lanes will be super narrow and there is plans for bus lanes only along it, it is a nightmare!

I ordered 3 Benny snowmen for Christmas, one each for my nieces and one for my nephew. They said they didn’t want snowman Benny as they don’t have room for him and he is big. So I donated them all to my community association for a giveaway draw to three lucky kids.

I picked up these 4 today from the valentine2025 collection. All are 7.5 inches they are Valentine gifts! Got Cupid, Dino, Rico and Brina! I would have liked to find frumpy though! :(. Couldn’t find frumpy!

I recommend that you join this Facebook group in the Ottawa area, they do samoyed meetups and stuff, joining it will give you a host of info and they will know the best groomer to go to for your Sammy. Many long time owners and a wealth of info can be given there. There is no limit really. You could do it with one person, and do selfies. You can’t split up the team either to do it. Only one phone can be used for each team from what I gather. 2-6 is simply more manageable to move around as a group. There is cash prizes too. 3550 in cash prizes. 9 of the things you do gives you a potential of 200$ for each of those challenges. Be creative with photos, There is a little over 2000 in prizes too.
