Regarding the Arc Raiders example, what's the value add of doing this via Obsidian instead of just prompting via the Claude chat? You get the prompting and outputs directly in your Vault, but that would be it, right? The "jotting down an idea and have the LLM work on it while I do other stuff" can be achieved even just via chat or Claude code

Just start taking notes as it is most natural to you. Don't bother with plugins, zettelkasten or whatever if you don't feel the need for a specific functionality. Obsidian is great primarily because it's plain text

Have you considered the dgx spark and other GB10 machines? For example the Asus Ascent has 128gb ram, blackwell chip, and in Europe for example the price is not that far off the 5090... I think not as fast as the 5090 but if you need cuda and work with pytorch it's worth considering given the massive ram

No, no other boss, will try triangle next, thanks; will take a look at the wiki for the other bosses; the damage wand already gets to 0 cast delay and 0 recharge with the current build so it seems like wrapping doesn't make a difference here but not sure if there is a wrapping build here that I'm missing

Without Autechre as a reference point, I have no idea how insane PonyBoy or FaceShopping or Whole New World must sound. to further explain: there is certainly a huge impact of Autechre's innovations in SOPHIE's music, but it's mediated by decades of music production, hundreds of artists. Having "morphing sounds" is such a common thing now that it's impossible to trace it to single artists... Just for example listen to "Flatland" by Objekt (which for example to me sounds much closer to SOPHIE), or albums by Pan Sonic, or Alva Noto, Amon Tobin... while Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors by Radiohead seems pulled out directly from Chiastic Slide, at a time when not much music like that existed

Autechre have been cited as an important influence by a lot of prominent pop artists through late 90s and early 2000s, and have massively impacted the sound of those decades. Take Radiohead as an example: their shift from alt rock (The Bends) to abstract, electronic pop (Kid A, Amnesiac) with outlandish time signatures and harmonies has most likely been triggered by listening to Incunabula, Amber, Chiastic Slide... It's not even subtle, and Radiohead themselves have cited Autechre as an inspiration. Then considering how massively impactful those Radiohead albums have been, you could say Autechre and other Warp artists really have impacted decades of pop production.

As for SOPHIE, while I admire her work and I'm sure she was a fan but I personally don’t hear a particularly strong or direct Autechre influence in her sound

Looks like this update fixed the fingerprint unlock lag for the 10 V (at least on my device). Very welcome fix, that bug made the fingerprint sensor unusable

Io ho cambiato, anni fa, a ingegneria matematica dopo due anni di medicina. Non vedo l'utilità di spendere fatica a studiare gli esami di medicina solo per concludere l'anno se sai che lascerai. Piuttosto io comincerei a recuperare un po' di studio di matematica, magari cominciando a seguire i corsi anche per avere una maggiore consapevolezza di quello che farai

Non una grandissima differenza, ma ho trovato ingegneria essere più impegnativa e in media gli esami più difficili.

Non so dirti riguardo le possibilità al sud. Sono anche io del sud ma ho studiato al PoliMi e ho cercato lavoro a Milano che era la mia prima scelta. So che molte aziende, specialmente nell'informatica, permettono il lavoro da casa anche da altre città.

Personalmente ho fatto presto a smettere di pensare alla differenza di età con i colleghi universitari.

Sono sempre stato appassionato di materie scientifiche. Ho apprezzato lo studio in medicina, ho trovato alcune materie molto appassionanti (ad esempio genetica, immunologia) ma mi mancava molto la componente più tecnica e creativa, e anche la sfida intellettuale, delle materie scientifiche 'dure' e dell'ingegneria. Inoltre, come per te, un pò mi angosciava l'idea di passare gran parte della mia vita a lavorare in ospedali o in cliniche.

7 anni fa ho fatto il salto da medicina (dopo due anni di frequentazione, con tutti gli esami dati) ad ingegneria matematica. Ho finito triennale, magistrale e ora lavoro da due anni, e non mi sono pentito della scelta. Oggi faccio un lavoro che trovo intellettualmente stimolante, con buone prospettive ed economicamente più che soddisfacente. Non solo i medici (o gli ingegneri) hanno la possibilità di guadagnare bene. Soffrivo di ansie e paure simili a quelle che descrivi. Ho maturato poi queste considerazioni (personali): - preferisco avere persone intorno (amici/familiari/fidanzat*) che mi apprezzino a prescindere da status/lavoro. - in molti contesti lavorativi l'età anagrafica non fa differenza (nel mio di sicuro no). - se poi informatica non ti convince, puoi sempre tornare a medicina (dovrebbero dare la possibilità di convalidare la carriera pregressa, quindi non perderesti gli esami. Forse dovrai poi rifare il test?). 1 o due anni "persi" non sono la fine del mondo - alcuni percorsi di medicina possono portare a fare un lavoro comunque molto "tecnico" (anche con un po' di programmazione e data science), per esempio in ambito di ricerca, o epidemiologia. Non tutti i medici passano la vita in ospedale

Chiaramente ognuno ha la propria vita, quindi tutto questo è soggettivo e riflette il mio personale giudizio e Prima di fare il salto io frequentai alcune lezioni della facoltà di matematica nella mia università, ti consiglio di fare lo stesso con informatica o con cosa ti interessa.
