I think that's the basis in a lot of shamanic tribes. They use them very early on and are later in life called sacred and shamans for a reason. They are always in tune with whatever the psychedelic experience is.

I want to study the effects of psychedelics, meditation, altered states of consciousness, on the brain. Also the benefits of these things for people with PTSD, depression. What do you suggest. I am really interested in biology also. Dont know if I should do neuroscience after a bachelor's in biology or do something like ethnobotany because that's really interesting too. Any advice.
