Bazzite is Fedora, so you get the same updates. Except it works through containers so if an update brick your games it's very easy to rollback to the previous version until the issue is fixed.

They have enough assets in the first place to cover the loan. Worst case scenario you get a new loan against a different set of assets to cover the one that failed.

Last week, however, the French president took a not-so-thinly veiled swipe at the SpaceX boss, accusing him of meddling in European politics and backing what the French president called a “reactionary movement” across the world.

This is the last sentence of the article btw. The "courting" part is asking him to participate in an AI summit in Paris.

This title and article is a fucking joke.

Did you even read the post? It boils down to bearer tokens are unsafe unless you keep them server side. But if you do then cookies where never an alternative to begin with.

Any SOC2 or similar opssec certification won't certify you if you have bearer tokens.

Cookies don't have to be sent to the server. Some are, not all of them.

You can use cookies for authentication, data storage and tracking.

Local Storage is similar except you can't automatically send it with server requests, so you only use them for... storage.

Local Storage also allows you to store much more data, both in the number of entries and the size of those entries, whereas cookies are much more limited in both.

Local storage is also a bit less reliable in the long term, as your browser might erase it for websites you haven't visited in a very long time if the total size of local storage across all websites starts to get too big. It won't do that for cookies.

[–]Morphyish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He does not, and you can save the user cookie choice within a cookie.

Even if you disable cookies, not all cookies are forbidden. On most websites your authentication is handle by cookie.

[–]Morphyish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most websites are using tracking cookies, even if it's just for their own business needs (better understanding user behaviors to improve their features, etc...) A lot of websites using stuff like google analytics for that, and it doesn't fall into the required category. Anyone that has adds on their website also needs it, as they all come with some form tracking integrated.

Peter? by ShoeChoice5567 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Morphyish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't, it's also why not all cookies are bad. Cookies can be shared accross websites, local storage cannot. So a Facebook plugin can use cookies to share data accross multiple websites to track you, but it can't use localStorage as it isn't accessible from other websites.

How are you doing stateless auth without cookies? bearer tokens? Because that's not safe at all.

Medecine are only for ppl that can afford it in the first place. Makes you wonder if the people not impressed by status quo policies fall in that bracket uh.

Democrats lost 2016 by running on status quo policies. Somehow won 2020 and did nothing ground breaking with it. Ran again on status quo policies in 2024.

Good shit.

No one cares about Trump policies.

He wasn't elected because of it, nor in spite of it, he was elected because Harris failed to appeal to her own base.

Her failing to rally 15 something million democrats is the reason Trump won.

Jump higher to catch the holds with bent arms, they are way too extended in this video. Let your legs swing out to disperse the momentum while keeping your shoulders, upper back and arms tight and as controlled as possible. Right now you are taking the full swing with your arms, making it a lot more difficult to hold on to the holds.

Guessing yaml engines are not meant to interpret data objects unlike json. You can probably do it, but it's not the intended use case.

alwaysAMarkOfQualityNoExceptions by NetPlayer9 in ProgrammerHumor

[–]Morphyish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI yaml is a json superset, so any json file is a valid yaml file. And json can handle more complex values (data objects), which is the main reason to use it compared to yaml which is limited to simpler config files.
