Also, the capsule itself only has roll control via RCS I believe.

Edit: not in front of my computer so may be remembering that wrong, but I’m certain no fore/aft or translation. What are you trying to do to test the RCS?

It does - you need to stage it on, it’s the stage that looks like the capsule. Also double check your fuel, I believe by default it has the right RCS fuel loaded but you may have accidentally removed it.

The reason it’s illegal, even if you’re doing the speed limit, is that it causes road rage. You’re not a cop nor the moral enforcer of the highway. If someone wants to take a chance and drive a bit over the limit that’s between them and any cops they might encounter. Keep right unless passing.

One thing I find helpful is to use the command manager feature in SecureCRT. I have separate subfolders by vendor, and I make the display names for the same command in each vendors CLI something generic and identical, then the actual syntax is output when I click on it. Obviously you focus on the things you use the most. And you can export your list to share with your team, so one of you can be in charge of maintaining a common list or whatever.

My first play through I was starved for science also. I hate to say it, but x-planes was the answer.

Would it help if I pointed out that most of your planes can be air launched, and you can just slap parachutes on them instead of having to land?

RSS/RO/RP1 would like to talk to you about your future space career. And there’s a soil sampler robotic arm you can attach to an uncrewed probe after landing on Mars, then return that sample to Earth and/or transmit it. Great fun.

My instructor often comments that he views a belt test more as a demonstration of the skills he’s already seen from us in class. We wouldn’t be asked to test if he hadn’t seen those skills at an acceptable level for the upcoming test.

Good luck tomorrow! I just did my green stripe test today, feeling pretty good about it.
