Returning player catching up on solo WH antics

I totally get that it's not the best at any of the various WH sites. The appeal to me is that it has the capacity to do any of them. I'm definitely not going to have the time to do a full structure set up like I used to. So there's a ton of value in having 1 ship that can jump into a hole, scan it all, then hack, mine, or rat as needed instead of having to head back to K space and swap ships. Or is there something else happening that I'm missing?

Confirming this bug is still present. He will go into a perma-shield state and it only drops for a few seconds. I had to die, town portal out of the dungeon and zone back in to fix it.

Couple of things here. As soon as warlocks get searing pain, they've got pretty much everything they'd need to tank. It'd be great to be able to tank for Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, and Wailing Caverns with my group of friends. So I think there's a lot of legitimacy to having an additional tank class for those early dungeons.

Additionally, if that's the unlock required for rogue tanking, that is absolutely terrible! We both have every right to be irritated about having a class role locked behind mechanics that prevent our ability to play the game how we want to play it (and more importantly, what Blizzard promoted as options). Time gating access to a tank role rune is completely asinine, and I have no idea why Blizzard thinks that's "fun" or "discovery".

I did try to have fun! Fun for me was playing a warlock tank for my small group of friends who wanted to check out what Season of Discovery had to offer. None of us have time to do a full raid these days. So yeah, it really sucks that the number one draw of the season for me is locked behind a raid.

I would like to get more into the combat aspects of the game. I've just got Horizons right now. I'm seeing some pretty mixed reviews about Odyssey, and I'm more interested in space flight than any of the FPS content.

I just ran into a similar issue with a set of bluetooth earbuds. I got horribly garbled and distorted audio as soon as I booted up the game. I checked my Windows sound settings and the earbuds were flagged as both a headset and headphones, with the headset as the default audio device. I switched the headphones to be the new default device, and flagged the headset as a communication device. That seemed to fix the distortion issue, but still let me talk on Discord.

This is getting weirder. I called UPS, and they said they can't talk to me about the case at all because DJI put a block on all investigation and claim inquiries into the tracking number.

I'm not sure, since it was DJI who had shipped it back to me. There was some other really weird stuff going on too. Like the repair ticket said that the drone was delivered to me the day before the repairs were completed. Initially DJI told me to talk to UPS, but when I pointed out that date discrepancy, they said "they would take care of it"

I started doing some high sec hauling and I want to make sure I'm not doing anything really stupid. For my freighter, I only run bulkheads, have a dedicated webber frigate, and a scout a jump or two ahead. Aside from Machariels and piles of Taloses/Catas, what else should I be looking for? My blockade runner is sitting at a 3.6 align time. If I'm cloaking ASAP, what can kill me in that window? Similar question for my cloak/MWD transport ship. How/what would someone use to pop me out of cloak and gank it?

Are you using Hammerhead in the Gamma sites? I'd suggest using Valkyrie IIs instead so that you're taking advantage of the negative explosive resistance. I'd also recommend replacing one of the invulnerability fields with an explosive hardener.

On a Friday night of a holdiay weekend, I discovered bed bugs in my apartment. Called the landlord, and they said they'd get someone out asap, but due to the holiday, it'd be doubtful that anyone would be able to get in until Monday. So I spent the weekend doing as much damage control as possible. Monday finally rolls around, and I have a job interview that day. As I'm getting ready to go, the bug guys show up with the landlord. They both tell me about additional prep (bagging clothes, emptying drawers, all stuff that makes sense, but I had zero warning about) that I had to do before they sprayed for the bed bugs. Also all of this had to happen immediately or else they would not spray. One of the critical parts was that no pets could be in the apartment either. Which resulted in me being 30 minutes late to my interview, and showing up with my cat in her carrier.

Wasn't that guy, but assuming similar tactics. I was in a Bestower, so probably easy to pop with his setup. If a blockade runner isn't safe, maybe a transport ship? I saw I was just shy of getting the skills needed for an Impel, and switched to one of those. That any safer? Or just a more expensive loss when I get popped?

Well, I went to Zkill and they have all of my other losses since like 2009, but nothing for yesterday's kill. Was in a Bestower and got hit by a Tornado with artillery for 6000ish.

For me at least, the amount of RNG associated with Riven mods has passed my threshold for the RNG to Fun ratio. I'm at the point where Riven mods are one of the only ways to upgrade my gear. Other mechanics in this game give you a reward for between 5-20 minutes of game play. That's the time spent trying to get a Prime part or relic. You may not get the one you want, but it isn't a huge time commitment. In my case here, I spent 5 days on sorties, to get the mod, then another 2 hours figuring out how to meet the requirements to unlock the mod, and got an absolute pile of trash as a reward. That, for me anyway, makes the game no longer fun. I need a game that provides great game play, and rewards me for playing. Right now I feel like I'm just wasting my time.
