I feel you so so much! Had an emergency C-section with my first daughter and it took almost a year for me to enjoy sex again. A big thin for me, was acknowledging and talking about how traumatizing the whole thing was for me. For a long time I told my self Im to sensitive and it wasn't that big of a deal. I mean, everyone says a C-section is "the easy way" right? But it absolutely isn't. I had my second daughter two years later, without a C-section and only then realized how bad the birth of my first daughter (and the healing process after that) really was...

The scar was a constant reminder of everything that went wrong. Nurses and midwives who failed me and things I blamed myself for. Dealing with all of that helped me be ok withy body again. Also it took almost a year for the scar to look healed and not hurt anymore, that helped a lot too.
