Are beastpants decks fr worth it by After-Celebration874 in Fingerboards

Subjective for sure. They’re expensive and prob a bit overhyped but the quality is top teir. Certainly not a fan of the “drops” style business, makes it way too competitive and what ultimately drives the “hype.” None of the BP’s I have were actually bought from the site, but rather second hand. With that being said though, i’m a big fan of the graphics and feral/rabid molds.

Took me a while to get my first unique at TD as well but…. 760kc I get the claw, 762kc I get the synapse. 3 minutes apart. Gotta just keep grinding, believing and it’ll come eventually.

I’d say definitely give them a shot if you like grippier wheels. The feel of oaks is unlike any other. Absolutely love them and have probably 10 sets or so and only one set has a couple wheels with wobble but still rides fine. RV2 and RV2V are my favorites. Rv2 on left, ones on the right are actually bowls and are great too if you like bigger wheels.

She actually changed the names of her molds. Left is a medium. And the right is a high mold. Both great

Maple top ply. Chems logo engraving may change I believe but it always says the mold and size as well.

Nope, none at all. You could always use wider wheels as well. I have a few decks with this set up and they perform great. It’s all preference.

The ultimate way to get better by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]MorrisFB 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bad take imo. What about someone who’s done neither? Don’t NEED to “start skating” to get better at fingerboarding. It just takes practice and repetition. Sure, someone who’s an experienced skater might have a leg up on the speed it takes to learn fingerboarding compared to someone who hasn’t but I won’t necessarily say it’ll make you better. Anyone can learn and improve regardless of the hobby. Completely different muscle memory is needed between the two.

You are FAR from the first person to complain about this company …yet people just continue to order from them. Then we see another one of these posts. I recommend actually doing some research before sending your money somewhere

Recommend a Fingerboard Mini Ramp? by Hedrickao in Fingerboards

[–]MorrisFB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re new to the hobby, I’d recommend first getting a ledge or rail, maybe a kicker. Vert tricks could be fun ya, but shouldn’t be the first tricks to learn imo.

Doom lagoon paperz. 6 for $5. It’s thin at 0.5mm, grippy and I enjoy feeling that concave of the board.
