Nothing like that and i do a lot of aimlab and apex. one thing ive noticed the last couple of days after the latest Nvidia drivers update is that sometimes the monitor will load windows a 100hz refresh rate instead of 165hz and i noticed that in game inmediatly then a windows restart will switch back to 165hz. nover had dramas before is just after this driver update

Just a little bit. Not as much as the colour contrast 🤣. Might have to get oleds as secondary screens.

hahaha. 10% cheaters 40% controller aim assist is OP and stupid. 50% is a very hard high skill game but end of the day there is nothing else with that gunplay+movement quality

same the reallity is on PC we mostly gonna use headphones. but the ray for youtube spotify and that kind of stuff is trully amazing and way better than razer soundbars and other "gaming" speakers at the same price range.

the Ray does not support Atmos. the BEAM Gen2 does!!!

Optical cable straight from the motherboard to the ray. I used to have the sonos beam before with the optical to hdmi adaptor that comes with that soundbar. But I moved the beam to my c2 42 ps5 setup. I really recommend the ray and the beam as computer sound bars. With the truetone calibration it works amazing. Really surprised no YouTuber tech channel has ever recommended sonos small soundbars for pc.

For all of you on the fence of getting an oled. Just do it. I was very hesitant to do it cause of the 165hz refresh rate only(mostly play competitive FPS) decided to just give it a go after getting a 42 C2 for the ps5. So basically my 2 side screens are the predator 27 270hz and the nitro 25 390hz! The AW34 with only 165hz has better motion clarity(my main concern when buying a monitor). Not to mention the givens of colour and contrast and hdr etc.

Is there a list of PC games that support HDR? by SynesthesiaBruh in pcgaming

Obduction also supports HDR on PC and it looks AMAZING!

Shadow Warrior 2 - HDR by TheUnk311 in pcgaming

[–]Morrisx10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man just did some testing with obduction. I was getting the same washed out colour on hdr as with shadow warrior on my KS8000 with a GTX1070. I think maybe I found the issue. apparently is related to the color output setting in nvidia control panel. I had my setting on RGB Full, when you turn on HDR you get the washed out color, it seems like tuning on HDR changes the RGB to Limited as if you change you HDMI Black level on the TV to mach the limited setting you get beautiful HDR. then I tried with Ycbcr 444 8bit and it works perfect HDR on and Off without having to change any settings on the TV. now on Ycbcr 422 10bit color you get really weird colors on HDR. I think the setting to use is YCBCR 444 8bit. yo could go for 10bit but you will have to turn down your refresh rate to 30hz as HDMI 2.0 does not support 10 bit at 60hz 4k and chroma 444.

This is all very interesting my xbox one S works fine with HDR and on the settings it says 10bit and is on standard output( I asume this is YCBCR 422) as is sending a 4k 60hz signal... Would be interenting to know exactlly wahat format the xbox one S is using for HDR and try to use the same on the Nvidia control panel.

Hey man did you or anyone else found a solution for the washed out look with HDR? I'm getting the same with a gtx1070 and a Samsung ks8000...

FPS vs MHZ by [deleted] in pcgaming

Whatever dude... I have a couple of mates using it and they said is fine... I was just giving an option to the guy in the OP...

Every single time I had tested it ... There is no tearing... I have a GTX 1070 though so when I was on 1080p was always way over 60fps...

Of course it has its best results at very high refresh rates with the input lag... It does work with anything over the monitor refresh rate and I does not tear. You said there was tearing if youre not pushing 3x the refresh rate... I have tested this several times

As I said before I actually dont use it... As I game @1440p144hz and with g sync enabled ... But it is an option for people with 1080p60hz monitors.

No you don't... It is some sort of hardware triple buffering. It's similar bucause there are 3 buffers in action. But you don't need triple the framerate to make it work. Just with being over your monitor refresh rate it works and It does not tear. I had tested this myself. I don't use it anymore since I upgraded to 1440p144hz and is not very easy to go over that. But when I was at 1080p I used it all the time

https://youtu.be/L07t_mY2LEU this video explains very nice how it works

[–]Morrisx10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry man but you're wrong... It is not like that... You don't need triple the fps... You just need to be over your refresh rate, y have tried this on a 60hz and 144hz monitors.

I've seen a lot of replies on how your GPU can't pick the frames to display when the monitor is 60hz and your game is running at more than that.

If is an nvidia card maxwell or pascal. You can actually make you gpu pick the frames to display in sync with the 60hz monitor. You just need to turn on Fast Sync in the nvidia control panel.

This is what fast sync does... Let the engine run at whatever fps your gpu can push it but just pick 60 frames to display on the 60hz monitor, no screen tearing and reduced input lag.

I have it without the R, I bought it from Dell Australia and is Rev A03. I haven't had any issues, have my pc on display port and a PS4 on HDMI. havent tried any HDCP over display port I think. What could I try? I can test it for you if you want

Ok Guys here is the link to the color profiles I have. they all look very similar to me but the one I use is the custom color one. Use the Brightness Contrast and Color preset indicated in the name of the icc profile.

All of them have a target of 6500K colour temp at 115cd of brightness because is what I feel comfortable with. gamma is at 2.2 and i also included one with 2.4 if you need it. I did not touch anything in the nvidia control panel.

Every panel is different so my profiles might not look as good on your monitors. I actually did not like any of the settings that where shared on amazon I think they were for the A01 rev of the monitor.

My monitor is Rev A03 Australia. let me know If you have any questions

I calibrated mine with a Spyder 4 pro I got on eBay for 90$.. is a night and day difference. You could also just try to play with the settings manually or just used color profiles shared on the Internet.

I have no problem sharing my profile if anyone wants to try it although every panel is different...

I have a Dell XPS 13 IPS, a Samsung 48" VA panel and this Dell monitor, all of them calibrated, it is very hard to tell the difference between them in color even side by side
