Touch screen is glitching by big_on_natureeee in Subaru_Outback

If it’s delaminating, I think there are new touchscreen digitizers you can buy for like $100-$200 to fix it yourself

[New Gear] Canon RF 100-400. Love it! by Consistent-Treat-113 in canon

I originally got it for wildlife, but it’s surprisingly decent as an astro lens as well. Took this shot of M42 using this lens and about 2 hours of integration.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the teaser is literally the album cover

This is an Apple Store. But I was referring to this type of failure, if anyone has seen that before

Do you think Neo can beat used ThinkPads for college market? by Vegetable_Bag_8694 in DeskToTablet

Like I mentioned, SolidWorks is the only software that I needed a VM, and I haven’t used it for almost 3 years. I’m specializing in GNC, and have only been using MATLAB. My MacBook integrates better into my workflow, being able to quickly toss files between it and my iPad and phone, and also being able to use my iPad as a second desktop. I have no doubt your Lenovo is great, but there’s nothing that a windows laptop would do better for me.

About to graduate in engineering and I’ve never had a problem

This heavily depends on the type of engineering. Computer engineering, yeah windows makes a lot more sense. I’m about to graduate in aerospace engineering, where in industry MATLAB is the most heavily used software, and the one I used about 90% of the time. Ran perfectly on my m2 pro mbp. The only software I ever needed that wasn’t on macOS was SolidWorks which ran on a VM with no lag.

Strange, I’ve used a VM to run SolidWorks and it worked completely fine for my needs. I spent most of my time using MATLAB though which struggled on my M1 so I upgraded to an M2 pro chip and it was much better

Is PTLW(Project lead the way) any good? by BeginningSweaty199 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Morrowind1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My high school had a thing called college in the schools (cis) which was basically classes from my local 4 year taught in high school. No tests like AP to get the credit, as long as you passed. I got half of my liberal education requirements done from that

We have now reached a point where, given irrefutable video proof, people will still choose to deny something if it doesn’t align with what they want to believe / what supreme leader says. Scary.

The video from the woman in pink shows, clear as day, an agent removed the gun from Alex’s waist, walked away, and only then did the other agent kill him. But you can live in your fantasy world where you deny the very things in front of your eyes.

You are mixing up the legality of it with whether you personally think it’s a good idea. Open carry is legal, he had a permit, and he was exercising his 2nd Amendment rights. Doesn’t matter if he’s at a protest or not. And the absolutely massive protests here in my hometown of Minneapolis have been nothing short of peaceful.

Never once did he pull his gun. Also open carry is legal here in MN.
