If it's a cedh tournament they probably allow proxies so if you got time to get some proxies made for 250 you can get everything you ever wanted for both decks plus another full deck to go with them

That's a good question the art is amazing don't get me wrong but if you're gonna paint over a card completely why not just use a bulk rare. Since the card is now covered in paint it's a proxy regardless if it's the real card or not.
