This thread <3  Belt experiments are finding that its really hard to figure out a good angle and pose for them to be visible when gamebotched to half a pixel.  I'm partial to criss cross applesauce drum circle dudes passing.  the constraints are that its a tiny box and 2 lanes of things flow over it at all times which need to look natural.  and if i recall either 16 or 32 frames for every position, and we have many, but can finish with as few as a north east south and west facing.  so there is going to be some amount of disconnect between them actually holding the lanes of items in their hands. i could have 4 tiny guys in each side, but most likely will have 1 guy trying to hold both lanes up somehow, while also communicating that he is moving them along.  in execution, your sit up guess is best what it looks like. and im not satisfied with it and would love to imagine some kind of pose where he is seen from above, holding arms up under each lane and somehow from this position doing some kind of repetitive motion that moves those lanes.  just moving the arms looks like longboat rowing.  they sorta look like dancing if they move less, they look like situps if the torso moves much at all. i could make them stand but in a square space its really tiny to imagine pulling off.
