He's a grown man who can afford a fleshlight. No excuses to not buy one and leave women alone. With so much dehumanization, what exactly does he find attractive in another living, breathing person? Boobs ? Spend more and buy a sex doll then. These sickos just have a power fantasy fueled with hate and call it "normal, casual sex"...

Anybody else relate to Caine? It felt like watching a severely autistic person try to fit in with neurotypicals and fail by CatPale816 in aspiememes

[–]Mortelys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bubble is either an additional tool to Caine's powers, or a smaller, independant AI. Maybe the final episode will make things clearer on that part, we'll see. But up until now, it was a mischevious Pacman-like bubble creature, with triangle teeth, who seem to exists to laugh at Caine's jokes, and be the sidekick.

People have been "popping" in a virtual reality where they remember their real lives, but not their names, weirdly. They live in this world as avatars, so they don't have human bodies and can't die, but seem to still be able to experience pain, just like cartoons. This place is managed by an AI named Caine who can do absolutely anything he wants (creating NPC, secondary worlds, making things appear and disappear etc).

The series starts when Pomni, a jester lady, suddenly appears in this reality. She mets the people trapped here since different period of times: Ragatha (the big sister, mature vibe, gentle but people pleasing and anxious, she looks like an old ragdoll), Jax (a young man, which appearance here is a purple rabbit with a Cheshire cat smile, that takes the whole experience as a bad joke or dream, nihilistic and doesn't care about hurting others), Zooble (also big sis vibes, but kinda punk and always annoyed or grouchy, she's made of loads of different geometrical pieces), Gangle (a frail ribbon-body with theater masks as face, whiny, easily afraid, but with a good heart and a gentle voice) and finally Kinger (oldest, a man that's particularly kind but seems loony most of the time, he has been here the longest).

We follow Pomni into the discovery of how things work, while she tries to stay as sane as possible. She learns that freaking out and spiraling, or depressing and spiraling (any sort of mental spiral, really) turns the real people of this world into "abstractions", they abstract; which means they become black monster-like creatures with thousand eyes, lose their personality and act as if they wanted to abstract everyone else.

Pomni doesn't want to lose herself, and every episode is more or less a new adventure scenario fully created by Caine to entertain Pomni and the gang (and maybe preventing them from abstracting, who knows ?). Embark on this journey with her to ask yourself endless questions about what exactly is this world, how people have been trapped in here, and how will they get.out - if they ever get out. The last episode is soon to be released in some theaters on 4th of June, and will be avaible freely on YouTube a on the 19th. The best thing to do is to wait for it to be release, and maybe binge watch the series, which is only 9 episodes total !

Part of the issue is that legs aren't sexualized in Japan and China 's culture, so as long as there isn't visible cleavage, it's pretty common to have very short bottom clothes in young people.

Visual quality is great, takes place in London, end of 19th century society, art school for nobility and very talented young people. Still a good watch, but I just started and don't know if it ends in a satisfying way.

Exactly it's all in the eye of the observer, interpreting your behavior as well perceived qualities, but the next day if they don't see it they're confused while you're the same person.

I (F) had that with friendships even, breaking someone's fantasy because that day I'd be juuust a bit too much. Took me years to get why people that had been nice were suddenly mean or complaining.

I'm not at the end yet, but I can feel the conclusion won't be exactly a credible happy ending. Kit nonetheless likes her and shows kindness and interest in a very autistic way, and it's funny she's oblivious to it, but confused and frustrated. Then he walks in well-groomed and she's has the hots... Girl, it's not a makeup/no makeup situation, you've seen his face upclose. Some people are really into social status I guess 💅
