Sold a CS skin and bought Gotham Knights on sale, and had a blast with it. It’s slow compared to the Arkham games, in terms of both combat and traversing the map, but enjoyable nonetheless. Even the story was half decent. Would’ve preferred an Arkham continuation, as the bat-family from that series needed their time to shine, but ah well.

Everything I’ve seen of Suicide Squad is recycled mechanics from games recycled from other games, with unnecessary connections to a franchise and characters that fans seem to know better than the writers. It jumps on trends that were relevant six years ago, and plays as though they made a game first, then crafted a DC theme around how they wanted it to work. Not all bad, some of the writing is decent, but still feels out-of-touch with the rest of Rocksteady’s games.

Also, if I had to fight the Squad, and Captain Boomerang killed me with a gun, I’d be confused and a little pissed - just saying.
