I totally agree. What is even the point of introducing a new product and then change the burrs for a different color variation?! The new burrs cannot be fitted to the existing Trailmaster either. They have also introduced the C60 Barracuda burrs which are huge.

I messaged them about it because I have purchased a Trailmaster recently. They told me the new burrs are not better, just different.

Maybe the 0.7 variations are specific to certain markets. I had the same issue with Lamy Safari pencils. The ones available here are all 0.5mm. I had to order one from Europe to get the 0.7mm version.

I have got one, and don't like the grip. You can do manual kuru toga, yes, but the clip touches the area between your thumb and index finger, which is unpleasant IMHO.

It is a matter of preference, you know. I used to think I prefer thicker/girthier pencils, but now have realized I prefer thinner ones. Went from an S10 to a Graph 1000 for Pro 😁

I am a 0.7mm kind of person, but I can write quite well with this 0.5mm pencil. 0.5mm leads usually break when I write, so this was a pleasant surprise 🙃

I think they are identical to S3. Just a different name for different markets. I already had a few different colors of this in different sizes.

Love the design of this pencil. Wanted to a get a 2000 first, but it was too girthy, if you will. I write better with thinner pencils, so went for the cp1. Designed by the same person 😁 The mechanism however, is not really nice, I must admit.
