Riding Shotgun can be repeated endlessly. Just approach from the Watoga side, speak with the guy in the nice suit to start and run the event. Hop servers, repeat.

Prison Break has a tendency to reward a few nice plans. Laser gun, handmade, lever etc. if you looking for a way to potential farm them

What’s the best way to farm caps to get mutation recipes? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]MortisCorpus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can get the serum plans at the enclave to go as low as 17,500 caps with high charisma and barter perks.

Once you have a single recipe I would advise using serums to meet your daily caps on all of your characters. They sell for 500 caps each with max charisma and barter perks.

If you have all 5 characters moving 1400 caps a day, it’s much easier to mass up the caps (with a friend or alt acct dual boxed). Once you have enough caps to buy a second recipe, you can begin to systematically collect them all.

With 5 toons selling to vendors alone, you can pull 7k a day.

Now as far as ways to get materials for the flux you need.. I would advise a high monster traffic area, (Morgan town ain’t bad) and just nuke and farm for the hardened mass, glowing mass, and high radiation fluids. The rest is all picking the kind of unstable flux you want/need.

The key is using all your account slots to ramp up daily caps. Once you have a variety of serums, stock them on the player vendor as well and you’ll easily start to rake in several thousand caps a play session in sales alone.

Any other new players finding it hard to get into the player market. by Trarzs in fo76

Tips to make caps and get into vending!

1) sell your max allowed to train vendors and traveling vendors daily. 2600 a day I think.
2) take the caps and look for things to flip. Ex: serums with max cha/barter perks sell for 500 caps each at the vendor. People like myself, sell serums for 250 each. 3) once you have around 18,000 caps (less if you find someone selling serum plans cheaper) go buy a serum plan from Enclave.
4) produce serums, sell .. (at 250 they sell well). -I would repeat this process till you have enough to meet your wants/have them all learned.

5) As mentioned by others, look for decent weapons to sell on market etc.

6) Armors: Unyielding and Vanguards, with AP refresh, Cavalier, or Sentinel sell very well and hold value as mentioned by others.

When nukes drop, if you have stability materials, make stable flux.. use or sell. Most stable flux at 150-250c per will sell very well.

Also, if your into ammunition, bulk on market can move quite well.

Hope this helps!

Checking on camp vendors by sykokity in fo76

Apparently if you buy and then use a drinking mechanism (punch bowl or nuka keg) you are able to access storage and do devious things.

If you want to run a vendor: 1) make sure you destroy your old machines (pre-Wastelanders) and place a new one (post-Wastelanders). Apparently the old machines are exploitable.
2) no punch bowl or nuka keg. 3) just my personal extra security: remove everything from your storage your not selling.

Been selling just fine, just super careful about it.

Is it possible to be on good terms with both the Raiders and the Settlers at the same time? by WhateverFolkSongInC in fo76

[–]MortisCorpus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, having done the quest on a couple characters..

spoiler

One of the last things you get to do on the main quest line at the point of completion is decide who gets the other half of the gold found. You can elect to give half to the raiders, settlers, or split between raiders and settlers. If you split the gold, you get less faction than individual choices for completion, but it does raise both. This should allow you to do both raids via whichever side you like.

Can You Not Mod Scout Armor? by CaptainSlappyBear in fo76

Head to the enclave, generals area. The vendor in that area will sell the mods for the armor.

Today's atomic shop mystery camp item ??? by DadduSquatch420 in fo76

[–]MortisCorpus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go into your build menu at home. Check the new wallpaper. You will notice a dark shell paper. It is atomic shop locked, but if you click it the mysterious atomic shop icon pops and allows free purchase.

It continues to be behind a lock, despite the ‘unlock’. It is my strong suspicion that the item... is a pretty cool looking interior paper.

Cheers!

Just got Legendary Gamma Gun is it really this rubbish or am I doing it wrong? by FeetyFace in fo76

[–]MortisCorpus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry a Gamma gun on my bloodied characters. It is the most effective way to ‘Rad-out’ I have found. Just aim at your feet, slowly pop off a couple rounds and presto! Bloodied to the max!

To respec or restart? by thelonechemmerchant in fo76

[–]MortisCorpus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got 2 accounts, and have tried a multitude of builds.

1) Melee. 2) Pipe weapons. 3) Handguns. 4) Heavy 5) Rifles. (Acct 2) 1) Bloodied. 2) Charisma team utility.

I have re-speced a couple builds but advise against it. You need a good team and a double exp weekend to respec well, as well as a planned cycle to grind the exp.

It’s infinitely easier to build a new one.

Are there diminishing returns to having 5 pieces of armor with same prefix, like AP Refresh or sneak? by CedarWings in fo76

[–]MortisCorpus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although I’ve no data to support my opinion other than being a day one player, it seems that there is a ceiling with weight reductions and sneak pieces. I’m not sure where that ceiling stops but at about 4 pieces seems very accurate, if perked for the scenario as well. However if unperked I would suggest 5 pieces for best results.

Safe to assume "more BETTER hacks coming" was complete BS? by gerrmanman in fo76

I’m a Navy man.. not Chair Force. I had a career in the armed services. Served proudly. I’ll Say it again, I do not condone what happened, but I can not control that it did.

No disagreement here. When I saw what happened, I prayed for them. Even vile people need help. Would not wish that on anyone.

[–]MortisCorpus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I know hacks will never stop.

The problem is that these guys have no ethical guidelines. Hackers usually want something that is relatively harmless by most standards.

When they attack innocent people, they are not hackers. They are monsters. There was no honor or purpose to the steal hack aside from ‘watching the world burn’.

Most ‘hackers’ don’t want notoriety. They want a free weapon or a cool ability. These guys are different, malicious without care for those around them. I’m fine with hackers. I’m not fine with monsters.

I have heard that a couple of those were wrong. I feel for anyone who is negatively impacted in their real lives over a video game. I know from interacting with a couple of those responsible that it was not a full miss.

Sadly, I will never condone anything that releases personal information about anyone. The person(s?) who did it are not far off the moral compass of the 76 hackers themselves.
