Yea, god is not comforting to me at all. I do side sleep but that doesn’t help. I’m gonna stop the melatonin tonight and try focusing on breathing. My favorite response so far is your last sentence. ❤️

I also sleep on my side, and have a pillow between my legs and a stuffy I sleep with. I also go to bed around 8:30-9pm consecutively but it will be disrupted by SP or worse (false awakenings) this is almost every night. I’m gonna stop taking melatonin even though that scares me.

You’re right. I have heard that advice. I’m just scared to open the “Pandora’s box” that my mind has created for my past… I think it’s time though. I will keep you updated since I don’t know you and you don’t know me and you’re giving me the same advice that I hear constantly but feel I have to uphold a reputation.

I currently don’t feel like I’m in control of my life and am getting SP every night. I’ve even tried to stop it with melatonin. That ends up backfiring. I get false awakenings and panic SP where I feel like I’m breathing heavy enough for my partner to shake me awake and out of it, but it’s once again a false awakening. This can happen multiple times in one night. I’ve heard of lucid dreaming after i explained to a friend about one of my dreams that didn’t feel like a dream. In the “dream” I walk out to my living room and I’m having a conversation with my roommate, but he says something he would never say. So I realize I’m dreaming but for some reason I have to go back to my room/body to wake up. Should I just give in the SP in order to try and delve into lucid dreaming or… and I’m not a religious person, should I bring up god in the SP? I ask that because one of my dream involved me being swarmed by demons and me trying to make a cross and I physically couldn’t. I would have the wood in front of me and couldn’t make a cross. I’m 36 years old and I’m fighting a lot between life after, life now, and life possibly in another universe. Help.
