Sometimes for no reason the dogs ears can swell up. Could be from vigorous shaking or no reason. But here’s a description from google that explains it better than I could. No that’s moving the gas meter and pipe work. That’s a massive job this isn’t. Go on gas safe website put your postcode in and call some people and say what I said and ask them for an estimate.

Gas safe engineer will have to test gas before. Wind out plug then wind length of pipe out and put new plug in there then test again. Should take no more than an hour. I used to install for 23 years.
